Q u o t e:
Even though in the commercial it is said "Uh, there's no such thing as a Night Elf Mohawk" you think it's false advertising?

Please tell me you're just a troll.

Also, this is more truthful advertising than half the commercials out there. For example, when was the last time you got dry humped in an elevator for wearing Axe Body Spray?

Fun fact: when Mr T rides a Frostsaber, it doesn't run; it pulls the world toward itself.

I'd totally take Mr T jokes over Chuck Norris. I pitty the foo who thinks Chuck is better.

Commercial states there are no mohawks. But what are the odds one will show up as a style from the barbershop in Wrath of the Lich King for select races?

Q u o t e:
First, I want to say I love these new commercials. They are incredibly amusing. My one thought though on Mr T's commercial, doesn't this run the vein as some form of false advertising?

While funny and enjoyable to watch, it certainly could lead some who have never picked up the game, to believe that there is such a thing as a Night Elf Mohawk. How disappointing though when they buy the game, give their credit card info, login, and find out they can't make such a class, let alone get that hair style on a Night Elf period.

Now I know in the commercial, the director chides him, telling him there is no such thing, but how closely do you think people are paying attention to that little blurb?

It's entirely possible they may make that hairstyle available with WotLK, but until then...

Just something to think about I guess.

Watch the commercial again and this time listen, just before Mr T reacts with the favous SHUT UP FOO, a voice tells him there is no such thing is World of warcraft.

How do you know that mohawks won't be in the game after the next expansion. Blizzard said they are putting in more hair styles and the ability to change them.

I remember reading somewhere about WotLK making available ways of changing your hair style and other features. I would be willing to bet that a mohawk will be one of the available styles.

Okay, spot the truthful statement!

If you drink our soda, you'll get chicks!

If you use our body spray, you'll get chicks!

If you drive our car, you'll get chicks!

If you wear our clothes, you'll get chicks!

If you drink our booze, you'll get chicks (who suck on ice cubes!)

If you smoke our cigarettes, you'll get chicks!

If you use our cell phones, you'll get chicks!

If you buy these sugar pills to enhance that "certain part of the male anatomy," you'll get chicks!

If you eat our greasy food, you'll get fat chicks!

If you raise hens, you'll get chicks!

If you buy jewelry from us, you'll get "special favors" from your chick!

If you play WoW, you can pretend to be a chick!

Reminds me of a comedian I heard... bunch of old men picketing outside the marketing agency, shouting "Where are the girls!? You told me I'd get women if I drank Johnny Walker! Now I got a johnnie and a walker! Where are the girls?"

Gotta love these "problem finders"....no clue what false advertising even means....goes out to find some problem that nobody cares about...or even had a problem with...then advertises it as "this could be a problem"....then even points out that a director says "this isnt real" but continues with the original point because people probably dont pay that much attention...so the argument distills down to: stupid people may be too stupid to realize this is a joke and even though Blizz points out ,to the stupid people, that this is a joke - these people are too stupid to pay attention and "get it."

People can make a Mohawk, it is just called a Warrior in game, I believe the director even says this in the commercial.

It would have made more sense for them to use an orc for that commercial though, since orcs have a mohawk hairstyle that can be selected.

This was a custom model made specifically for the commercial and the awesome Mr. T so there is no guarantee that it will be a new hair style in Wrath of the Lich King... but I definitely hope that every race/gender has a mohawk option. :)

I want a custom model too.

The fundamental problem is with the playerbase, not the class.

OMG, some people on this forums are the most ridiculous bunch of idiots I have ever seen.

Seriously, this is your biggest concern?

Oh, BTW, everything you see on TV is real....Springer, Pro-Wrestling, Deep Space Nine, The Muppets...

Dear troll,

Lets see if we instead can make you cry about loosing your access to these forums.

And here's the thing… unlike a lot of famous people, Mr. T really is awesome. Cancer survivor, quiet unassuming philanthropist. Great guy.

That is exactly what I was thinking...maybe you can look at it as a teaser/preview of sorts.
