FAQ –In no particular order… -----------------------------
Q. What are the different talent trees for?
A. Retribution is the damage tree, Protection is the tanking tree, Holy is the healing tree.
Q. What tree is right for me?
A. It depends on your own personal preference. Examine the talents in each tree, try them out and then make a decision.
Q. Are Paladins easy to level?
A. Any class is easy to level if you spec well and keep updating your gear.
Q. What Professions should a paladin take?
A. Professions are generally personal preference but many paladins favor Mining/Blacksmithing or Engineering or Enchanting in order to get access to high-level profession-only gear.
Q. What is a good leveling spec/build?
A. Retribution is a good questing spec. Protection specs favor the AoE grinding method and Holy is good for leveling with friends. Please visit the Leveling category for more information.
Q. How do I know if I’m geared enough for Naxxramas and later raids?
A. Please visit the Spec Specifics category. Many guides listed there have general stats that you should shoot for.
Q. As a Holy Paladin, what is better for me? Spell Crit or Mana Per 5?
A. Please visit the Discussions category for information and data regarding this.
Q. How much hit rating should I have as a Ret Paladin?
A. For PvE Raid Bosses you need 8% Hit Rating. For anything else PvE you need 6%. For PvP you need 5%.
Q. How does a Paladin Tank compare to a Warrior or Druid Tank?
A. Prot Paladins, with the right gear and spec, can tank just as well as a warrior or druid. They are also very good at multiple mob tanking. Please visit the Spec Specifics category for more information.
Q. Is Retribution worth taking into a group/raid as a DPS class?
A. With a good spec and gear, Retribution can DPS as well as other well-specced and geared classes. Ret also brings utility. Please visit the Spec Specifics category for more information.
Q. Do Holy Paladins heal better than other healing classes?
A. Holy Paladins who gear and spec well can heal just as well as any other healing class. In some situations, any healing class can be a ‘better healer’ but there is no definite answer to this specific question.

Maybe this guide is just horribly out of date - but I don't show a lot of respect for guides that include Spirit as an important gearing stat, level 60 hp/sec equations, and the ever-brilliant "Lay of Hands"
How can so many people mistake "on" with "of" anyway? I never understood that... ;)

There also doesn't seem to be any good information regarding the eternal mp5 vs. spellcrit debate, why plate itemization is superior to leather/cloth and in most cases mail, and any information on downranking.
We need a good holy guide to be written and upkeeped - er, upkept - er...whatever. . ;)

Yeah I noticed that too and pointed it out in another thread just now.
