Could be World of Diablo considering it's been in work for a long time. It wouldn't make sense to be a Starcraft MMO because then you would have the same franchise competing for itself.
Diablo on the other hand has it's own hardcore following and wouldn't really directly compete with Starcraft since that has it's own hardcore following.

Theory:
World of Starcraft
Reasons:
There is no decent sci-fi MMO out right now (sorry Galaxies doesn't cut it for me)
It would make sense as they recently released Starcraft II, which would revitalize interest in the franchise.
I now know it is not the old - it is the hopeless - that don the mantle of regret, unable and unwilling to shrug it from shoulders stooped with misery.

Probably Starcraft or Diablo. I'm leaning towards Starcraft. After all, they need something to compete with Warhammer 40k and the rumored KOTOR Online.

Q u o t e: I hope it's related to Starcraft.
Universe of Starcraft would be amazing!
I'm not familiar with the Starcraft universe as I've never played Starcraft. So, I don't doubt that it would be amazing and highly addictive like this game is. However, if BioWare is indeed developing Star Wars Galaxies: Knights of the Old Republic, then any sci fi MMO coming out in the future will have an enormous hill to climb to compete with that.

The most realistic is that it is a world of warcraft sequel.
Here are three reasons why:
1.It doesn't make sense for blizzard to have two mmorpgs that would compete against one another.
2.World of warcraft is already 3 years old. That is very old for a gameengine not to mention very old for a game. It makes sense for them to create a world of warcraft sequel, considering how old the game is along that it would have better looking graphics and could more do other things like physics on a brand new engine(DX10 anyone?)
3. If they came out with sequel it would help keep world of warcraft maintain its dominate position. All they can really do for world of warcraft is just make expansions based off of the current engine and its capabilities. You create a brand new sequel off of brand new engine that can do new things you can get those with current subscriptions to switch over while getting the people that canceled their subscriptions to come back and play the sequel increasing the population even more.

Actually, everyone knows its Lost Vikings: Online. I think its pretty apparent that Blizzard is hoping to revitalize this one. I mean, come on, Vikings, how cool is that?

Q u o t e: WoW 2
After the two expansions for this game, and how they have and are effectively killing off every single important character in Warcraft lore, in addition to butchering existing lore in the name of MMO development, I can't see what material they even have left for a possible WoW 2.
They've kind of destroyed Warcraft.

Probably WoW II... maybe a graphics re-haul of WoW. It doesn't make sense for Blizzard to split its audience across two MMOs. If and when they make another, it'll be a successor to WoW.

I take it WoW is your first mmo? 3 years is nothing. MMOs can also be graphically overhawled without killing the game.

They could also be revamping the graphics for WotLK. After all, if they're introducing new dances, and changeable hairstyles, it would make sense for them to hire more modellers to remake/retexture the (dated) graphics in WoW. 'Bout time we had a game that looked better than Quake 3.
