Mechanar is actually fine the way it is. While I cannot disagree that those robots aren't trouble, it surely is not bad as you might think. As long as you have a rogue with you or a warlock as some have suggested, then you should be fine to interrupt those charge fists.

I too used to dislike Nethermancer Sepethrea; however in a recent patch, her flaming allies have had their speed reduced, so the fight actually becomes a fair one.

All in all Mechanar, is one of the easier heroics, and at a certain point when you run it a lot more, it becomes too easy.

did it with a paladin tank, paladin healer, shadow priest, 2 warriors (1 was spec'd protection). Only myself, the prot warrior, died cause my gear was horrible. Rest were in arena/raid gear. We burned through it without issue.

Why? Cause we followed the three simple rules to raiding/dungeons:

1. Don't Suck
2. Don't die
3. Use Pots

Heroic mech is a joke. ~45 min 4 badge run. 6 badges if it is the daily. If the robots are giving you a problem, interrupt their charged fist, have a rogue stun them, etc etc.

Some people are like slinkies. Not good for much, but still make you smile when you push them down the stairs.

I have T4 and other assorted epics. I consider heroic mech to be easy as heck, too. I swap to partial dps gear to tank in there, otherwise I don't get nearly enough rage to do much other than autoattack. Honestly, it's one of the fastest, easiest heroics there is to do.

Like Yablonski there, I've done mech without any pants on, just because I couldn't mix 'n match enough to generate enough rage.

I just ran this yesterday with a tank in half PvP gear. The destroyers never wiped us, never even came close. I even missed 2 or 3 kicks due to GCD and bad timing. He sucked it up and nothing happened.

You're doing it wrong.

Note: it only takes 1 rogue to interupt every single charged fist. Not that you should be dying to it anyway.

This might come as a shock:

Heroics are meant to be a challenge.

Instead of watering down the content even further, they should be making them harder.

Shut up, learn to play, etc.

I bought a fake plant, but I did not pretend to water it, so it died.

1 warrior can interrupt every charged fist.

(Here is a hint: If your warrior is tanking, have him interrupt the first charged fist with shield bash. Then have him build aggro after that first interrupt until the CD on shield bash is up, then return to spamming heroic strike. The next Charged Fist will happen in about 4 seconds, and your shield bash will be ready and not on GCD. Rinse, repeat.)

Heroic Mech isn't meant for people who "somewhat recently hit level 70" to do.

And I find the idea of Heroic Mech needing a nerf pretty ridiculous. Its challenging, but of all the Heroics, it is by far one of the fastest and easiest ones.

Hunter ranged weapons should show on our backs. The code is already in the game.

I'll admit that paladins will have a harder time with these than other classes, so I'll offer some suggetions.

Bring a rogue, warrior, or shaman along for DPS, and make sure they understand it takes patience and timing to get all the interrupts off properly.

Especially bring a rogue, they have 1.0 second GCD, and can interrupt the charged fist more easily. They can also stun for the duration of the fist, if they mis-time the interrupt.

If you bring a warrior, make sure he keeps thunderclap and demo shout up on them.

If you bring a lock, make sure he keeps curse of weakness up. Additionally, he can use the succubus to keep soothing kiss up. This is a 10% attack speed debuff, same as untalented thunderclap.

Finally, gear with armor and health. Avoidance is meaningless when you're knocked down, which is when they have the best chance of killing you.
