High end raiding guilds are being given beta invites so they can test the content in TBC? How exactly is this fair, when many other people like me, have been playing this game since launch. Why do raiders get higher priority, simply because they raid? Last time I checked, the main focus of this expansion was 5-man content and not 25-man raids. I'm insulted to hear that secretly these guilds are being invited to test something I've payed to play since launch. (I've loved playing WoW, which is why I feel betrayed)

There is obvious reasons why Blizzard would do this... Do you really want Blizzard testing new raid content with PUGS?

It's almost as if Blizzard wants people who play alot, and know alot about the game to test new content.

This is my main.

There are 6 25 mans in the BC, and if they need organized groups to work out the bugs, I say invite the high end raiding guilds. It will only improve our game experience come BC time.

That's what happened at the start of WoW. EQ testers to test. And what did you get? An EQ game

They should mix perspectives into the BC Alpha testing, so we don't get more of the same experience and hopefully something a level above today's dungeon dynamics

If you see me hearthing
Try to keep up

You would think blizzard would do something special for people who have been playing since day1...but that would be asking too much of course to give back to the people who have been around so long...

I'm going to take a wild stab at it... maybe they need their raid content thoroughly tested, and raiders are the best fit for accomplishing that? Oh that's right, I think it's self-defining... I guess I wasn't guessing at all, just reading and re-stating the obvious.

Am I the only one that thinks it would make sense to invite the best PvE players in the game to test the new PvE content for them? I don't raid anymore yet I understand this.

Treachery-60 Rogue; Soulcutter-60 Warlock, Negator-60 Mage.
Monstrous-49 Warrior; Zephyrus-49 Druid; Farslayer-49 Hunter.
Stormforge-39 Shaman.

They said this was going to happen as one of the ways to get into beta testing. Why the shock?

Who can spot the person who wants to be in beta just for fun, not to actually try to help test and improve it?

It's not as if guilds are the only ones getting invites. There's the contest winners and the Blizcon attendees.

Honestly, I would like to see the guilds getting these offers turn them down and post their reasons why.

I would venture a guess that most of the people in hardcore raiding guilds are barely qualified to breathe let alone offer constructive criticism, feedback or any type of testing (regression or other) for new content that the majority of people playing this game will not see.

No disrespect intended :-)

I approve of them inviting raiding guilds and personally I think they should invite raiding guilds.

I would also like to recommend my guild for invitation in case bliz is still looking for people to invite.

i will translate, " OMFG NO MORE OF THIS RAIDORDIE BULL!#@#!!!"

Personally i am glad that they are doing it, the instances will be run through their passes by people who know what they are doing, and HOPEFULLY making it more user friendly when BC is released.
