While the date for the end of Season 2 has not yet been announced, we wanted to let everyone know beforehand about a change to the requirements for a team to be counted towards the total teams considered for the end of season rewards.
Our goal with this change is to remove teams from being counted that could not already be eligible for the end of season rewards. By not counting them we’re effectively limiting the pool of teams that are added up before calculating the final 0.5% for the end of season rewards.
The requirements for a team to be counted (both requirements must be met):
The team must have played at least 20 games during the season.
The team must have at least one player that has played in 20% or more of the total games for that team.
As the requirement to be eligible for the end of season rewards is also 20% participation for the entire season, this overlap merely ensures that teams that have active and eligible members will be counted.

Hmmm.
So, the vast numbers of people who bought top teams or who sneaked into them will be forced to play at least 20 games. Free points!!!
Anyways, this should not have been implemented at this point in the season.
Players have absolutely no way of figuring out their chances for a given rank. It's really cold blooded, especially since the last 4-6 weeks have already involved basically the team 100 teams in every bracket almost playing nothing at all on their main teams.
All this does is screw over the people already screwed over, just below gladiator.
The only people who've been playing in the last month are the 1900-2100 people, and almost none of them have been able to move ahead.

I went thru the first 5 or so 2v2s and found 3 or so teams that will get knocked out by this system.
I think it'll affect the top end more since you got teams that got real high then just dumped it with alts. Some of them have 200+ games with 2 players that have 2 games played.
They'll probably be 100s of teams that will get knocked out by the new qualifications.
