Edit: Question is, Will the new veterans gear match there respective set like they do currently? Example Cloth +healing belt matches the priest healing set, so on and so forth.

so this means that s3 may start before 2.3, correct?

will s3 gear be available at the start of s3? but the honor stuff not until 2.3?

There is no honor reset. Its been stating a hojillion times

Veteran's is Season 2 BG gear. Vindicator's is Season 3 BG gear. It will follow roughly the same setup.
