After each region's maintenance this week, raids will no longer lose attempts on wipes in Normal mode for Professor Putricide, Blood-Queen Lana'thel, Sindragosa, and the Lich King. There will still be limited attempts in Heroic mode.
We will continue to monitor developments in Icecrown Citadel in the future, especially since the Heroic difficulty has been unlocked by a significant number of raids.

Please clarify one thing. Will we still need "attempts" in order to attempt these bosses on normal?
In other words, if we use up all of our attempts on Heroic Prof. Putricide, will we be able to attempt him (and his buddies) in normal mode, or do we need to save one?

21 of the 561 guilds who have killed Sindragosa killed Arthas thus far, and there will probably be a few more tonight. That's 4% of guilds who have killed Sindragosa, and you call that a "significant number of raids?"
Anyways that's kind of a tangent, I wish you'd reconsider limited attempts at all as all evidence points to it causing people to raid more, not less.

Someone brought this up in raid chat. Told them I would eat my hat if it were true because I honestly didn't think Blizzard would cater to casuals that much for at least a while. Blizz, I'll be sending you my colonoscopy bill.

Likely after heroic Lich King is killed. Which will still be enough to make the majority of people happy, but will be somewhat disheartening to the upper guilds =/.
