As always, we appreciate when our players take the time to check out the information we’re providing about World of Warcraft, which is now entering its sixth year. In this edition of Shop Talk we’re letting the masterminds behind the Warcraft universe reflect upon their campaign to make the best games possible, and we’re also taking a look at World of Warcraft’s future. Here’s to five years of memories, along with many more years of great experiences yet to be forged. Most importantly, here’s to you, all of the gamers around the world who have enjoyed World of Warcraft and made all the work that goes into it worthwhile.

The Teenage Warcraft
Fifteen years ago, Warcraft: Orcs and Humans hit store shelves. Back in 1994, few could conceive how this franchise would help shape the future of online gaming, let alone Blizzard Entertainment as a company built around the prospect of making fun, immersive games. Now we’re hard at work developing the third expansion for World of Warcraft, the fourth title for this franchise released five years ago this week. If you’ve yet to watch our interviews with those who have built and expanded this universe from the ground up since 1994, we highly recommend you take the time. Grab yourself a lovely beverage, perhaps an electric blanket, and be prepared for some very real comments from some very passionate gamers: the creators and founders of Warcraft as we know it today.
