Um what.... the two pieces are nearly identical, except the paladin piece seems to have more stats(Stam and Def) even tho they are the same item lvl? WTF!

Uh huh, and you probably got more Stamina and avoidances in exchange for Block Value, which we Warriors DON'T EVEN USE EXCEPT FOR ONE SINGLE BATTLE ONLY A SELECT FEW GUILDS WILL BEAT BEFORE 3.3!
That'd be another example of Blizzard screwing US over.

Q u o t e: Welcome to T9. Paladins had less BV on their tier than Warriors.
No wait, we still have less BV on our tier.
WHY BLIZZARD WHY DO U HATES TEH PALADEN??
That might matter if it was a really valuable stat rather than a gimick one for more or less just one fight. The stats in question here are core tanking stats...and the discrepency is not subtle. Not that I'm saying you don't have any right to complain about t9 mismatch. That's still pretty stupid no matter how you slice it.

I checked your statement. While yes the warrior helm had more block it had 21 more block value which I think is less valuable then say stam, and defense.

I don't see any reason for these differences, the rest of the gear compares almost identically as well, with the exception of a few swaps between parry/dodge or whatever.
Well, 3.3 isn't out yet, I'm hoping this is just a bug or an incorrect value. Wonder If there is a valid reason as to why the paladin t10 needs a whopping +4 stam and +8 or +9 defense compared to Warriors when we already scale better with stamina in the first place...
10. Re: Blizz using itemization to keep pallys on 11/19/2009 11:12:24 AM PST
The imbalance of stats for T9 only starts with the ilvl 245 stuff, which if you want to argue that block value is better then stamina, then good luck to you.
In the case of T10, the imbalance starts at the lowest ilvl and persists through the tier.

How about logging onto the PTR and sending feedback about it?

Unless the other items in the set make up the difference? If you're only showing the helm, it's hard to say.

Completely irrelevant. It looks like one either under or over budget.

How dare you bring your logic into this thread. How dare you!

Both items have 179 stam and 76 defense.
Generally, I might suggest "Is this a bug?" and not "Obvious bias!"

Or .. "datamined information isn't always correct" might fit too.

I dunno. Clearly it'd have to be an attempt to keep the man down.
Loot follows the Law of Inverse Need - The more you need an item, the less likely it is to drop. The corollary is what you need is guaranteed to drop when you are not in the group.
