That's normally fine, except that blizzard has made what seems to be a very exciting quest line for everyone, and then missed a large portion (Tanks are 20% of a 5 man, not to mention the rest that were missed) of it's audiance with the rewards, despite giving a ton of variety. The rewards that blizz did create is proof that they're trying to give something to everyone, we just want to draw attention to the fact that they missed a few, and that they should fix it before live (which they might, and maybe it will even be because of complaints like this, who knows since it's not 3.3 as stated earlier).

Rule of thumb with weapons, especially best in slot, amazingly awesome weapons with procs on hit. they go to melee first. When you say something stupid like "everyone that can use it deserves the right to roll on it", it makes you look bad.

But i digress. This is about the unfinished datamining of the weapons that nobody really knows much about or even how to obtain them. So let's assume that the current listings are true, that there is no weapon specifically for tanks and no weapon specifically for those dps classes that can't use caster swords.

These "neglected" individuals can still use the weapons, they just aren't optimized for maximin effectiveness. But if you're using a heroic weapon, it's still going to be an upgrade and still going to be amazing. Yes, you tanks out there don't have to use a weapon with defensive stats on it to tank. You can, in fact, pick up a DPS sword and pump out some more threat. It won't be the best, but it's still an option. And hey, you tanks already had your awesome lore inspired and quest based weapon, why can't DPS?


So the TL;DR version: shut the hell up and wait

I am reasonably certain that Blizz said there would be a reward to fit most every need (although I cant find the Quel'delar sticky post now to link it). To not include a tank weapon, forget the other class combos that got missed, but a tank weapon. Thats a pretty big miss.

Are you stupid ? Ulduar gear is better than naxx do we agree ? and TC gear is better than Ulduar gear(Save Hard modes on each respective area) do we agree? also TC H has better gear than normal Heroics( and higher ilvls)

Also correct me if i'm wrong but aint ony dropping the sister blade(Wich is a tank Wepon) why would blizz make 2 wepons of the same ?

Maybe you should get your head out of the dirt and reread the part where I said IF THEY MADE ONE ITEMIZED FOR HUNTERS like they did with Quel'Delar.

Easy mistake, I'm sure everyone at a second grade reading level would make it.

Look, buddy. Obviously you're the kind of person who doesn't think Hunters deserve anything before anyone else. That's fine. That's just a #**!ty design philosophy. If it were itemized so that it was for either hunters OR Strength based dps once you finished the quest, then it shouldn't ever matter who gets to start the quest first.
That's like saying Resto Druids don't deserve the Legendary healing mace because Direct heals > HotS or something silly like that. No wonder you're so blankly opposed to a tanking version of Quel'delar. Disappointing. Oh well. I'll return to my Warsong Gulch now. 100% damage debuff just showed up.

Might make me go combat, shame the handle on the damn thing is a banana. Still, cool sword.

Actually if it has Agility and its a one hander i dont feel i have a problem with a hunter rolling on it as(Stat holders) but thats only if i have said wepon already XD!

With the legendaried and myriad of melee weapons that do/will exist, you're complaining about this?
