I don't actually spend time to farm gold.
I just sell what I loot, do BG daily, buy raw epic gems with honor points(I don't need to buy any more honor gears), make clothes from my tailoring whenever they are off cooldown, etc.
And I still have much more golds than I need.
How should I sink all this gold?

Make sure you have a large amount for when cata hits at least 20-40k to buy all the goodies.

Well theres always the mammoth from dalaran or the mechano-hog if you have a real lot to spend. You can also sink a ton of gold into buying the kirin tor ring and upgrade it if the end result would be an upgrade.

You can buy a Brown Bear, Traveler's Tundra Mammoth, and a Chopper.

If you've already gotten everything you want for your character, I suggest charity. If you can't stand the thought of giving your gold away, make an alt and gear him from the AH, your gold will be gone in no time...

Buy a lifetime supply of reagents.

"What, you need some symbols? Got ya covered!" ;)

If you only have 1 character, you'll have problems getting rid of it all.


If you have the Mammoth and the Bike...

I didn't bother looking at your gear, but do you have all the best crafted stuff? All the gear you can buy with Crusader Orbs?

After that... Bank alt with all the tabs?



After all that, you could sponsor some cool in-game contests, I suppose. With gold-rewards.

I was giving out 10g to the person in Elwynn forest who could bring me the most (different) amount of animal parts after an hour. I got seven people to play along.

Sigh sadly I've never been in the current position you are in... EVER!!!! So I cant really say, other than go for some of the achievements like obtaining rare mounts or stock piling mounts. IMO thats what i would do.

So, I'd save enough, then gift the rest to noobs. My lvl 9 spriest gave a lvl 8 huntard 50g the other day, since he was new to this server and was broke. He was elated

pets and mounts until 75 and 100 of each respectively, then save for cataclysm

How do people do this? i bought my epic flying and that was the most i ever had. How does someone make this much money? i usually only have about 1.5 k g on me at any time, and currently i'm at have of that because i gave my 60 rogue 400g when i faction transferred him. bleh i wish i had an overly large amount of money.
