They've already confirmed no new skills or talents for 85... just more points, refreshing the talent trees (think class review2.0), and changing some racials/talents/spells to be more "fun"
They said there will be skills at 81, 83, and 85. :-/

Edit: At least I'm pretty sure I remember that. Could be making it up.

I knew about no new talents, but no new skill? Not even at 85?

Blizzard has said nothing about not adding new skills at 85. I would feel cheated if I didn't at least get one.

I understand what both Rey and Brun are saying but say if I want to stick to a mage, I see Feral Bear Charge as the best means of sticking to them. Also the "possible" chance of interrupting a frost bolt is a bonus and them being immobilized for 3 secs. The CD of feral charge in bear is 15 secs so it makes Frost mage kiting a lot harder imo. Just my 2 cents.

I understand you shift then charge then shift back again which is mana/sort of time consuming but I think it's well worth it. Feral charge cat in its current state is really bad.

I'm having trouble finding any statement on this... for or against it.

I'd listen to the Q&A youtube link, but I don't have time right now. I would have sworn they said "no new abilities, talent tree updates, but no new talents either"

That's not entirely accurate. Our current plan is not to make the talent trees any deeper, but all classes will get new abilities as they level from 80 to 85. The talent tree overhauls may require a new ability sprinkled here and there as well.

Please don't give us warriors heroic leap. I used it in beta and hated it. However if you want to gut the arms and fury tree and spruce with some new fun be my guest. Maybe do something about the arms rotation, yes fury is boring to some but I know just as many warriors that dislike arms purely for the whack-a-mole game.

Edit: Just so it doesn't sound like i'm wearing hater pants. The reason I disliked Heroic leap was that it was super buggy. Half the time you overshot your target and the other half you landed facing the wrong way. Even if every kink was worked out I think balancing around having potentially 3 charge like moves would be weird. If warriors were going to get some new abilities I could think of several that we need more then another closer. Also maybe while looking at abilities time could be spent on ones we need to get rid of, on next swing being a prime candidate. I've come to rly dislike heroic strike and cleave. Yet there's a ton of my dmg, so it's love hate this expansion.

Beautimous!

I was watching the YouTube broadcast of your Q&A and hadn't heard it yet... this was much simpler!

Sweet, I'll start trolling up all the high-rated Ferals and getting ideas for new abilities for your annoyment (a new word I'm using lately)

Heroic Leap was fun, I don't know what you were playing.

As for Arms being "whack-a-mole", it has a grand total of 1 RNG proc. Which, if we're counting, is the exact same number as Fury has.

Does this means there's a chance for Heroic Leap to make it?? (Please don't give us false hope, but rather say if u guys are studying it or if it was left behind).

I might revive the fury warrior I dropped out of disapointment for HL not making it to WotLK.

Edited my post to explain why. As for arm's 1 rng proc, when was the last time you played arms? You are forgetting overpower from rend tics and the idea of hitting ms/slam in between those procs. It's very whack-a-mole.

Taste for blood is not RNG. Read up on it. It has an explicitly defined time that it will proc and exactly how often it will proc.

Kinda splitting hairs. Although what you say is true it doesn't change the rotation much from being very jumpy. Add a proc watching addon which is almost mandatory and you even got the flashy icons flying at you to smash. lol

A proc watching addon is not necessary, just watch what is on your screen.

Feral Charge (Cat)
Warlock Illidan form
Army of the Dead
Thunderstorm
Blast Wave
HEROIC LEAP!

Ya, turning into a Demon that has a "taunt" button and a "melee" button as a caster provides me with "OMFG, THAT IS SOOOO COOL!!!!!" Wait, I tank like crap. I just got banished. Awesome, I can intercept like a Warrior...umm, now what? OMFG, I JUST GOT FEARED BY A FRIGGIN' PALADIN!!!!

Ya, sooooo cool.

About as cool as Demonic Portal not providing any help in the stun department because it might lose it's "COOL" factor, right?

Want to know what would be cool?

Army of Infernals.

now THAT, would be friggin' cool!

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Ok, while in a 25m raid with full raid buffs, set bonus's and trinkets pop'n buffs tell me an addon doesn't help highlight the procs making it easier to play. Oh wait, blizz is reorganizing the whole buff layout, seems someone agrees.
