0. In-Game Memorial for Arrtemis 10/22/2009 06:47:09 AM PDT
Our friend Arrtemis has lost his battle with cancer and is being laid to rest in real life on Friday. I know that there are many of us who desperately want to be able to attend but because of distance and life cannot. I will be hosting an in-game memorial for him on Sunday October 25th at 2 server. We will be starting at the Cross Roads with a procession ending at the Shrine of the Fallen Warrior. Please come and bring your brightest memory or favorite story involving Arrtemis.
Please don’t wear black for he would not want us to mourn his death but instead celebrate his life.
Everyone is welcome!
You're so wrapped up in layers, onion boy, you're afraid of your own feelings!

I'm quite sorry to hear about this tragic loss of life. I may not have known him, nor ever spoken to him, but the loss still triggers some deep emotion. Its always sad to hear when someone who fought so hard finally lost the battle with cancer. If I'm online, I request the ability to stop by?

Need some support from the Allies to keep out hecklers? As much fun as it would be to get a skeleton costume and follow random people around while pointing and staring them down, cancer is a **@# disease. Y'HAVE MY AX...POLEARM!

Horde and Alliance that would like to show solidarity and respect are welcome. Arrtemis loved pvp but I don't think it would be appropriate or respectful to have a horde vs alliance battle breakout at the event.
I believe I will open our vent for those who want to join us and give their respect by voice.

I'm sorry for your loss. I have a certain amount of respect for this quiet call of armistice, although I would expect posting on the forums will inevitably illicit a cross faction response. Be prepared!

Unfortunately, I think I'll be working that day. I don't think I knew him, outside of maybe seeing him around at a glance. :( Or maybe he's smashed my Allies into the ground at least once. Not sure.

Sorry for your loss. I didn't know Arrtemis, but I have lost loved ones to cancer and I respect the mourning process. Any ally seeing fit to wreck an event such as this are truly heartless, I hope your event is a peaceful one, regardless of faction.

=[. Sorry to hear this. Arrtemis & I have spoken on a few random occasions. I didn't really talk to him more then the random, but it's sad to hear this. My condolences.

P.S. would be nice if some one with more technical background than myself could make a video of the march, that could be played on you tube or similar site.
