Powerful weapon I can get not raiding. Epic quest line? Check. Epic weapon? Check. No raiding required? DOUBLE CHECK.

The Epic Quest line and the Story for me go hand in hand...
The lore behind something like this is just hands down Epic anyway so im excited for any cool cut scenes or background info... or even a special ability that the weapon would have (like the horsemans blade, yes random)...
other than that... Yellow text on a weapon description is also important!

The lore, mostly, and the chance to get a lore-powerfull blade.
I apologize for my poor english.
Dissapointed by Rated BGs. Half of the BG appeal is to join whenever you want without preparation, and it should measure personal contribution.
Not worth the wait.

I play this game with a half a dozen old college friends who are now scattered around the world. We have little interest in raiding, and we gain most of our satisfaction in keeping the group small and tight knit. Any story content available for 5 mans is an A+ in my book.

For me, it would be the ability to get it from 5 mans. My friends-and-family guild does not have enough 80s yet to do 10 mans, so having a shot at this once a day from 5 mans will be great.
