My poor girlfriend has her helm, she has her squashling; in fact she has everything she needs for the meta achievement except for......

...the damn toothpick!

I have thrown literally hundreds of these away (why you can't trade them or use them on others like the wands is beyond me) and for some reason she has not gotten one to drop yet and she has been trick or treating a minimum of 6-7 times a day since the very first day. Why in the world do you need a stack 10 of them when you only need 1 to complete the achievement?

Just say no to RNG and Holiday Achievements!

My warlock got both the squashling AND the hallowed helm from saving Goldshire, both in the same crudely wrapped gift. Took my paladin a bit longer to get both.

Got my 3rd yesterday. Wish i could give two away :(

2 of my chars got it from Trick or Treating, and one of them, who already has the title, got his second Squashling from Trick or Treating.

If only there were a way to do something with those extras...

I have gotten both the helm and the pet from trick or treating on several characters. Not only this year, but last year as well.

Gather four friends.

Rotate all of their alts through, one at a time. Cycle the HH 15 or 20 times. Profit.

Got 2 so far and I have never killed HH...

I've gotten 3 so far from Trick or Treating. Plus a 4th on an alt. Now that everyone I group with has the Squashling too - it's dropping quite often. Still no mount though.

My poor brother just needs a toothpick to complete his meta-achievements. He's basically been logging in every hour on the hour but has yet to get anything but masks, candy and the like. Considering the time, he's starting to get pretty worried about it.

The ONLY thing I need for my son's DK is the helm.

The little guy wants his title badly and I hope he gets it.

My guild let's me bring him into the HH fights but it won't drop.

Thanks everyone for your answers. I have the achievement on this toon but got my pets the traditional way (killing HH) and as i said before, have only been able to tot or smash the pumpkin on my paladin who "used" to be my main ~ it'd be nice to get the achievement on him this year since it's the only thing needed for the meta.

I did kill HH two or three times on the paladin, my guild used his summon for a possible horse mount. Oddly enough he wound up with 1 of each ring, the helm (hh plate helm) and the sword. The pet dropped twice (although i had already gotten it via tot) but no hallowed helms.

I saw the cloth helm drop 3 times last night.

The blade twice.

Reigns and plate helm are still MIA.

I had that same feeling when I was actively trying to get it on my this character (my dk). I really didn't get bothered by the RNG until i got 3 pets in a row. Not only was I peeved about not getting toothpicks but I felt bad for people who need the pet and here i'm destroying 3 of them.

Not that I think they need to not be soulbound or anything but I wish the system would recognize you getting the pet on a character and never give you another one.

The HH dropped both the helm (x3) and the pet for my priest. She won the rolls. Nothing useful from ToT.

The HH dropped the mount yesterday on my paladin (lost). No helm, no pet. She got the pet from ToT. Only need the helm now.

I've ToTed six times today. Candy bar, wisped, pirated, skellied (screw you times three, Undercity innkeeper), lollipops, and leper gnome wand. *sigh*

I received mine from Trick or Treating. I was annoyed. We'd just fought the Headless Horseman, and the helm dropped. As always, I lost the roll. I proceeded to Orgrimmar to look for a group for something else when I noticed that I was able to trick or treat again. I went to the Inn Keeper and got my Handful of Candy. When I opened it, there was the Hallowed Helm. I got my title. I was pleased.

And here I thought the innkeepers only turn you into a pirate, bat, black cat, etc. Must be different innkeepers that give the helm, where are they located?
