I love when people share information like this. I have a buddy who plays and he believes every piece of rumor someone from his guild tells him. He called me one day telling me how cool it was that Death Knights were able to use shields in 3.3. He hears gems like this all the time.

He didn't say "every day". He said on a regular basis.

All you have to do is keep an eye on the main page news for release / celebration info. When you see it's coming out, log in and get your pet.

Make totems stationary, if they cause such crazy debuffs like -20% stats I should at least be able to run away, or stop it from running when I try to kill it. -- Hakim

To my knowledge, it's going to be like a 1-2 week time to login similar to last year. I was just pointing out that unless you login only 1-2 times per month, you shouldn't have a problem getting it.

OTOH, if you have a dark whelpling you can maybe get peeps to target and try to kill it like I've been doing since Vanilla.

Add more Tiny Whelpling pets! Four just isn't enough!

Someone posted a you tube earlier, that looks a lot better than the static pic from MMO-Champ from a while back.

Man, all of you but the blue failed miserably at understanding my post.

My point was his first one sounded like "Oh we don't have a date to give you, so login regularly and hope you got the right day!"

His later followup has removed that possibility though.

I like to use the Dark Whelping for this, it looks dead-on. Great for those BWL runs too in the suppression room while I'm on traps, since it swings around and looks like its doing the attack animation :D
