Why does Blizzard flat out delete threads instead of locking them explaining why they are locking them? This in turn is causing us to have to e-mail the company finding out why, which then causes them to have to take the time to respond pushing work off onto other people. If you want to get rid of a thread, lock it and explain why. Don't just flat out delete it.
Or you could just read the forum guidelines. That should answer your question. Honestly, you know how many pointless threads they delete every day? Zarhym is being very generous today with explaining. I am sure he will be in this thread soon enough, too.
Read the "important; read this" post before posting:
Q u o t e: Posting IBL, IBTL, or its variants constitutes spamming. We appreciate that our posters understand the Code of Conduct to the point where they can call whether or not a thread is in violation; however, saying in before the lock does not contribute to a constructive community and it does fall under spamming. If you wish to acknowledge a post that violates policy, please report it instead.

It's pretty easy to see when a thread starts heading for deletion.
In B4 delete.
The above post likely contains sarcasm. Stop reading and consult your physican if you experience any of the following: Nerdrage, excessive QQ, or the feeling that you're being slapped in the face.

It'd be a rather massive waste of time to reply to each and every thread of the exact same topic made by another General Forum Bleachdrinker than it would to simply delete it and pray the Clorox hasn't made them so stupid as to be unable to figure out why it was deleted.
Useless, redundant threads will likely be deleted. If the reason isn't immediately obvious to you, reading our posting guidelines and the forum Code of Conduct to which you agreed before being able to post here might help.
Well, at least you would know that creating a thread like this is a violation of those rules. Perhaps the answers you seek were laid out in front of you in advance, providing us with a warrant to remove threads as we see fit.
I'm glad I got my suit dry-cleaned before the riots started...
Is there an Internet Darwin Award's going on today on the forums that I'm unaware of?
Quite possibly.

My friend told me he has a brother who's friends with a gm, he said that blizzard has a secret unicorn garden hidden at their HQ. Therefore, my friend must be telling the truth.
