Do those Mountain Dew bottles always stay there?, If so they would probably spoil, on a second thought, has anyone ever tried mixing red and blue?, if an event such as this ever occurred such as this, what do you suspect would happen? anyway... Nice "work" area.

That' does not appear to be a Colbert calendar. It looks more like the cover of his book "I am America (And so Can You!)". Great read by the way. That, along with Stewart's "America: The Book", I would totally teach a government / civics class with those.

I don't think it'd be exactly purple. The red kind is somewhat orangish, and the blue kind is a little towards the purple side. Most likely, they'd mix to create a color that might resemble purple, but would more easily be associated with something that doesn't look appetizing.

Edit: Also, I wish they would take half the syrup out of each flavor. I love mountain dew, but these particular flavors really epitomize the term 'sickly sweet'.
