There's not as much to complain about in PvE, and besides, you still see spriest, ele, etc post that their DPS is too low for raids.

Except every once in a while there is that gem of a thread that allows the developers to really better develop this game, which is what the forums are here for.

Examples? the 3.3 frost thread, threads about dispel mechanics. Even though 80% of these boards are QQ, some of the posts are worthwhile.

Because damage dealing never happens in pvp? o.<

Yes! Please!
It is not a PvP discussion forum.
Nor is PvP a major part of the game for many players. This horrible PvP qq happens here just because PvPers are very vocal usually, imo.


Someone, please make a formal petition to stop the invasion of PvP complaints topics, by making a separate forums for it?

Read the titles of topics here (you don't even need to look into them to see what they are about).
90% of these are obvious PvP complaints coming from all classes. Nerf this nerf that. Give burst, take away class's X survivability, omg I got killed while having 1k resilience, nerf heroism because it can be used in Arena, and other sorts of unbelievable, non-constructive BS.

If Blizzard would listen to at least a portion of this crap and change the game accordingly... It would absolutely suck for those who don't put PvP at the top of their priority list for WoW.

Furthermore, this amount of whining about arenas will discourage normal players to post their suggestions here, since they probably would not want their topics to drown in the sea of PvPqq (Kudos to brave ones, such as Lhivera).

while i agree that there should be discussion of both aspects of the game i tend to find alot of "PvP QQ" on this forum.

i just *personally* wish there was alot less crying about X class beat me in PvP so i want 1) buffs or 2) nerfs to X class and more constructive threads. things like "this mechanic feels weird" or "Talent Y doesnt seem useful/fun" are all great. some discussion should be done on PvP balance, just as discussion on PvE balance should be here too, but theres a fine line between "i dont feel useful" and "buff me please"

i come to this forum for 2 reasons
1) i enjoy seeing new ideas and nudging the discussions towards fleshing out their ideas, finding possible issues. it promotes creativity and some ideas on here are actually pretty good, and some even have been mirrored in some patches (IE MP 3.1 and 3.2.2)
2) entertainment

i just wish people would stop seeing this as a "make me higher on recount" forum and instead make it a "let's make the game more fun for everybody"

Deep Freeze still stuns mobs that are stunnable (ie: the little guy, Stormcaller, in Iron Council) and is useful for that. Just now it has a use on most bosses which can't be stunned. It just so happens that players can never be permanently immune to stuns, thus never eat the damage. Mobs can either eat the damage or be frozen.

EDIT: It's got a consistent, easily lore-explainable ruleset that works in both PvE and PvP without being different.

Curse of Doom is a better example, it just flat out doesn't work on players.
