I know the old creed when it's ready we'll give you an update but in the past it's been about once a month blizz has given us something to sink our teeth into.

I was going by the official website but yea I guess that could be considered an update , in that case it hasn't been quite a month.

They will probably give an update to Cat sometime after 3.3 is done.

Contrary to popular belief, blizzard doesn't have endless legions of interns. It's seriously around 50 people on game devs, art, programming and such. There is a reason, besides quality, that is takes 4+ years to release new games. Be glad they aren't EA . . . yet. I'm still waiting on Guitar Hero: Azeroth Edition.

I believe he is asking for updated information, not for the content to be released. They haven't said much about it in a while, the Developer chat revealed nothing new or exciting really.

You know how Ulduar got really boring and stale before the Call of the Crusade patch?

Now imagine if Ulduar lasted for another 9 months on top of that.


That's why.


Blizzard knows what they're doing, trust me. They have a time-line drawn out for it. They're not stupid-- and having one major content patch lasting any longer than 6 months (and that's pushing it) would be virtual suicide.

First off, there is nothing that says we have to know or Blizzard has to announce they are in Alpha for Cata. And as one poster said, 3.3 won't stand for a year, and blizzard knows this. Logical reasoning puts Cata out in March-May.
