The mammoth has vendors and can carry 2 people. The vendors are a HUGE bonus.

I only have a regular mammoth so I can't comment on the vendors and possible passengers but I will say this: Mamoths and doorways do not mix.

I say go for the Chopper.

Yeah I have the Ice Mammoth and the PVP one. But the vendors are what is looking good to me .

id get the bike. vendors are always all over the place.
plus you can fit in doorways with the bike

Isn't the bottom line cost about the same for both ? I have the T Steel and bolts. A friend that will make it and not charge me .

hog by far. its cooler, smaller (which is a big issues in cities and doorways), can hold 1 passanger anyways and actually makes the bike sounds properly.

mammonths ALL look alike and theres like 3-4 cheap versions that you can get and have no visual difference compared to the 18 grand one outside of 2 people hanging on the back of it.

vendors are everywhere. if you're an engineer and have jeeves as well its a no brainer. plus you can port anywhere now almost instantly.

i think it costs 12500g for all the mats from the vendor. Though if your friend does flame levi, xt, or mim he can possibly get a few of the parts from them and save even more gold. Plus whatever mats you need to get yet.

and it costs 16k 1 copper at exalted to get the mammoth

The only thing I ever needed off a vendor where ankhs, now I'm glyphed and can go on without them.

I'd get the chopper because I think it looks really cool, but the mammoth has far more advantages.

Vendors aren't generally 1.5 seconds away from anywhere you are - especially reagents and repairs. You're paying for convenience, and after a year of having one (give or take a couple weeks) I'd love to get a line on how much time I've saved (not to mention the time I've saved for group members). Having the Travelers Mammoth isn't just about you - you're helping your group/raid as well.

It's such a useful tool for farming and for some raids. You can sell your vendor trash as you get it, and you can repair anywhere you can mount.

The chopper looks cool, but it's just one passenger. Meh.

Hog hands down, to get hog you need to be engineer last i checked, so get hog, get Jeeves get mole-e and you get more for less price than the mammoth anyways.

My role on going back-and-forth is this.

"If I'm going back and forth between two items to choose, then it stands to reason that no matter which one I buy, I'll get satisfaction of buying it - but may be jealous of the other".

Basically, you'll be equally happy/dissapointed with whichever purchase you make as they're of equal valute to you.

Even more basic: Either choice, you win equally.

My problem with the mammoth - it's not BOA

When they nerf my toon to death and I have to park it, there goes 20k gold
