Why was this not done on maintenace day? You clearly just stated your testing your fixes, code, errors or whatever. Please dont call a reason urgent when in actuality the reason for servers being down has nothing to do with the integrity of actual server performance. It is the day after maintenance day so its safe to say your server has been down longer in the last 24 hours then it was the maintenance day after Wotlk release(which is last big downtime i could remember)
Not for nothing but since when does Blizz owe us an explanation as to what exactly the problem was? Y'all can complain all you want but Blizz knows perfectly well you guys won't quit the game. Throwing all these hissy fits isn't going to get the problem fixed faster; in the fact the people working on the issue itself will probably never even see these posts let alone care.

Blizz often times does reimburse the accounts affected by the downtime. You're probably the genius that never looks at their account management to see that it happens anyways. Hang in there, you might get reimbursed your whopping $1.33
