Epic quest...do they mean epic as in the Shifting Sands Scepter epic or.....epic as in the paladin quest to get our class-mace (took like 15min to do) : /

Somewhere in the middle, this comes from 5-player dungeons so it won't be as gargantuan as the shifting sands or as material heavy as the Hand of Ragnaros, but it will still require running a few instances and some dedication just to start it.

I honestly think this is probably the best way to go about it, as even us raiders need something to do the rest of the time we're not raiding.
Forcing us to get badges from dailies to get tier pieces isn't a good idea, especially as heroics are coma-inducing in raid gear. Things like this? Awesome.

Go read the piece they put up, it says right there.
Essentially, if you can use a sword, there will be a version for you. And if you can't use a sword, you'll be offered an equivalent of something you can use.

It failed to defeat Arthas twice and then got shattered.

High Overlord Saurfang once used Whirlwind. The result is now called the Maelstrom.
In Soviet Russia, Saurfang still cleaves you.
