Hey blizz, as a ret paladin, thanks for my ultra cool 2K heal on a 30 second cooldown as my big level 80 talent. Also, thanks for nerfing ret PvP even further in the top arena brackets, because... you know... 1% representation is excessive.
Also, since we are supposed to be a "defensive" hybrid in PvP, thanks for giving us none of the major offensive abilities, yet leaving us with practically no defensive ability.
This is very very VERY clearly aimed at nerfing prot endurance in pvp, which is insane.. especially when added on top of their utility and damage output
Rets will get buffed... maybe not immediately, but this does help pave the way for better changes.
Lets put it this way, SS wasn't helping you, it wasnt some kind of saving grace was it? Clearly it wasnt or you'd have higher than that 1% you all talk about. So nerfing it for you isnt a big deal, its not going to alter that 1% by much (if any), AND since its nerfed and not a concern, they can then have the freeroom to buff you in other utility areas.
In short, this is just one step in a process, stop complaining and either offer helpful suggestions for reasonable buffs (ie: not "NOW GIVE ME AN INTERRUPT OR A MS!" without some sort of explanation or backing or reasoning), or sit by patiently and wait on the buffs to come in to compensate.

and about the sacred shield nerf? Meh... lets see how the rest of the PTR develops before we start death cults and start sacrificing lvl 1 forum alts to GC
