Jesus man grow up. The chopped by far one of the best land mounts, and Engineering helps with dps and PvP. You get cool pets too. Engineering is for the people that still play the game for fun. Dont be a jerk

I heard it was a fun proffesion with cool toys, but then again, they're just toys. The rocket boots are pretty cool though

I'm in a raiding alliance and we have a bunch of people with engineering. I never hear them whine as much, actually I never hear them whine at all, like you find on the forums.

Instead they are popping out jeeves, riding choppers, putting down mailboxes, appearing different with transporter malfunctions, finding ways to show off rocket boots, trying to rez other players, rocking goggles and randoming to loot parts. And that's just the stuff I'm aware of in raids.

I took up engineering because I liked the rocket boots, and the mind control cap, and the gnomish poultryizer, and of course the death ray. More recently I've come to like the wormhole generator, the outland teleporter, moll-e portable mailbox, of course the mote extractor, love the goggles of course, haven't done the roflcopter or motorcycle but still could. Jeeves of course is pretty fricking sweet, shooting off fireworks ain't bad, definitely enjoy the boost from the mana injectors, get to craft those epic guns for a little extra cha-ching, and of course who doesn't love exploding sheep?

You won't be saying they're just toys when an Engineer flies off into the distance leaving you to die to an entire Horde raid group or kamikaze bombs vehicles in PvP Battlegrounds.

Because I find it priceless whenever I finish off an alliance (specifically gnomes, goes well with their death animation) with a rocket to the teeth.

(The auction house in Dalaran is just a nice bonus.)
