0. Warning: Spoilers Ahead! 10/21/2009 09:01:59 AM PDT
In the days and weeks ahead, we’ll be adding more content to the Public Test Realms in preparation for the upcoming patch and the final confrontation with the Lich King. While we’ve shared some of what’s coming already, and players will be able to see a bit more of what’s waiting in Icecrown Citadel during our testing, you may see some other websites digging into the data files and posting some pretty serious spoilers beyond what players will be able to experience on the PTR.
We’ve put thousands of hours of work into crafting an epic conclusion to the Wrath of the Lich King story, and we’re excited that we’ll soon be able to share it with everyone -- however, we also think the surprises we’ve got in store are best experienced within the context of the game itself. Should you wish not to have your Icecrown experience spoiled, we advise you to steer clear of any sites data-mining and posting this content. And if you do seek out spoilers, we ask that you please be mindful of your fellow players on the official forums. We’re looking forward to hearing about your adventures once the new content is available on the live realms.

Excessively cool.
MMOChampion has a lot of info out there already, but I haven't been looking too closely at anything other than updated patch notes for the PTR. He seems to be trying to avoid up-front spoilers in a couple of cases at least.

Personally, I'm glad I've stuck around all these years with this game. Because now, I guess we finally get to see the real conclusion of the Warcraft Series. Of course people are going to point out that, "World of Warcraft isn't ending, Cata hasn't even launched yet." and Etc, Etc.
However to me, once I see the ending of Icecrown Citadel, I'm done, because the story will be over. I've read and been around since it all started, from the original Warcraft, to now, so when the time comes for me I guess, when I'm done gearing, and when my guild has downed Arthas, yeah, that'll be enough for me.
This game has been a long and interesting story, it really has, and I hope Blizzards next game will be just as good.

It's always more interesting to weed out flagrantly incorrect spoilers from the stuff that might actually be true.
SPOLIER: Arthas and Sylvanas kiss and make up, then go on to star in a new TV show as a couple of bumbling private detectives based in Brooklyn. Hijinks ensue.

Thanks for the warning, but it'll be all over the forums eventually anyway.
As always, we will be assessing the need to suspend players who choose to post datamined information on the forums (which violates the Code of Conduct that is linked in the top most sticky.) We want to maintain a productive and constructive atmosphere here for players who may not want to know what is to come and enjoy the experience and surprise of it.

This is one thing I have been tying to avoid: the spoilers. While I have read the ptr notes that are posted I am trying to avoid readig anything beynd that so the final fight of this expansion isn't ruined for me. Can't wait to see what is to come!
