Update

We have recently applied a hotfix that should no longer cause certain Candy Buckets to affect a character's ability to complete the Trick or Treats of Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor and Outlands for Hallow's End. Characters are now free to get candy from any location they have not yet gathered from and can complete the achievements.

We are currently experiencing an issue with the Hallow's End candy buckets that is affecting the Trick or Treat Achievements for this event. Certain candy buckets in Northrend, once looted, are preventing characters from looting some of the Candy Buckets required for the Trick or Treats of Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor and Outlands. The current way to work around this is to get the candy buckets from Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, and Outland before doing any in Northrend.

Note, doing the Achievements first will prevent some of the Northrend Candy Buckets from being inter-actable.

We are actively working on a resolution for this and will provide more information when it is available.

Update: At this time please do not submit an in-game ticket on this issue, doing so will not result in a faster resolution as we are still working on the issue and will provide more information when it is available. Thank you.

what happens if we already are jsut waiting on one bucket (area 52) to become available? will this issue be resolved itself? or do we need to ticket a GM and have this matter looked at on a per toon basis?

looking forward to a fix, i already hit some of the northrend ones and i haven't finished the ek/kalim buckets >.> hallow's end is the last holiday i need for the meta! :X

You and I are in the same boat. Area52 is the final one I need for the achievement, indeed the meta-achievement if I can finally get a friggin Tooth Pick before they fix the bucket.

Sorry I'm anxious due to that being the only bucket I need for the meta and then I get the Meta Meta and my drake mount.

Is that achievement officially bugged for non-hunters?

I can't get it on my shaman, no matter what. Already reseted my specs, relogged, disabled mods, everything. Nothing seems to work.

I am also in the same spot for that achievement ( can't get area 52 ) , I even tried turning off my addons and delete the cashe files hoping it would fix this problem.

Wish I knew about this earlier, but thanks. Hope to see a fix soon. Get that bucket from Area 52.

Anything that relies on RNG is a failure in design.

Awesome that you guys are fixing this. Is there any way to fix say, the drop rate of some of the items besides candy? I did the entire Trick or Treat achievement and only got candy, no wands or toothpicks, not one mask... nothing.

My wife did it on her two toons as well, and still nothing.

Thankfully I had the necessary achievements from last year but one of her toons is a fresh 80, and now she's unable to complete her meta-achievement (ever?) because of the fail drop rate. I had her open a ticket about it but... I dunno. It just kinda sucks.

Yeah, I looted the camp Winterhoof (Because that was where I was logged out at) and the three Dalaran buckets. All I'm missing for the meta is Zabra'jin in outlands. I hope you guys can get this fixed soon

You don't get the wands, toothpicks, or masks from the candy buckets, You get them from the innkeeper and can talk to him/her once an hour. Is this the one you are referring to?
