0. Manage Account not working, Race change up? 10/20/2009 01:04:31 PM PDT

You never know :) since the manage account fearute isint working atm, maybe blizzard is setting up the race change finally. Thats my thought, u never know. Well find out soon :)

Other signs Race Change might be up:

Servers are down.
Servers are up.
Servers are down longer than normal.
Servers are up earlier than normal.
It is maintenance day.
It is not maintenance day.
A competing game is on the market.
A competing game is announced as being in development.

All of these things have been cited as things that made people think Race Change was out that day. If you look more for "an announcement of that" than for the entrails of a slain avain or the dregs of your tea or how The Lockhorns dialogue today looks refracted through a prism, reflected in a mirror, seen in ultraviolet light underwater, you'll be much more at peace.

When they have news to announce, they announce it. You won't have to speculate, because you'll be able to read the news post.

Which is exactly what I meant: when they have news to announce, they will. Lacking any such announcement, what conclusion can we draw?

And Aesop, I'm sorry to kill hope. I was aiming to kill frustration, but the two are so often standing side by side.

You guys have noticed that there is a "Change Race" icon with a coming soon type message on the account management page, right?

Yes, It's a serious question. Sorry I don't F5 my account managment screen all day to know exactly the second it hits.

Point is, they are working on it and are close enough to it to have the icon there. So relax.

Blizzard has been working on this for awhile now, probably rght after faction change, wich was almost 2 months ago. In my mind i dont think it would take them this long to finish it.

I honestly wish they'd just take the button away at this point. It has been up too long w/out result. I've personally just cancelled my subscription waiting for Race Change. I'll be back once I see an announcement. Bummer it's taking as long as it is.
