I am doing all of you a service. Unfortunately, most (all) of you don't play 2k or 2.2k + matches in the arena so you'll never understand or reap the benefit of it. Warriors ruined high end arena in TBC and it's on the verge of happening (or has already happened) again. Consider how out of control warriors are right now. Now fast forward to S8/3.3 when warriors have access to even better gear. An already grossly overpowered class will make S8 even less credible than S5 with the rampage of DKs/Rets.

One of two things will happen. 1- Blizz will do the right thing and balance warriors now and for the rest of WoW. Or, 2- Warriors will continue dominating, continue growing in rep, and arena will be a complete joke to all pvpers. It's already 3/4 the way there- just go peruse the AJ forums to see what decent/good/great players think.

Funfact: Neither do you!

Q u o t e:
Anyone else noticed their warrior-related threads disappearing? I suspected this had been the case when I came to the forums and only saw like 2-3 threads regarding the outrageous state of warriors at the moment. Then it was confirmed when a post I made yesterday was deleted.

Blzzard- If you don't want to see or have to moderate warrior threads, balance the class. It's not that hard and I don't understand why we've had to go through this for 2 xpacs now while you nerf classes like priest/mage/ret overnight.

Cool. Please be a pal and let me know if/when I do any of that. Also, just to save you the suspense, I will never be banned.

http://www.realmhistory.net/arena-statistics/team-setup.html

warriors are on two of the top 3v3 comps right now so they are actually doing pretty well.

They are fun to play against, I mean they take a lot of dmg from casters so you always have the chance to blow them up quick before they can go defensive and put up shield wall, and then they start spell reflecting. Shield wall is on a long cool down so switch off the warrior...then when its over cc the healer and switch back.

Of course warriors also do amazing sustained dmg, are nearly impossible to kite unless you're a frost mage, they have an MS and a spammable 50% snare, and all there debuffs are non-dispellable (huge bonus for them!)

Warlocks have a hard time with them because they are largely immune to fear, and if we port out of melee range we get >intercept >bladestorm > dead. but if they bladestorm first we can >teleport > immolate > chaos/conflag > dead warrior (well low health warrior at least? ok angry warrior RAWR CHARGE)

Someone already posted it, warriors are too gear dependant, with poor gear they suck, with good gear they are borderline OP vs a lot of other classes, because there resource rage depends on dmg done, so more dmg = more rage = more dmg = more rage = insane dmg done per match because they have so much uptime with a short cooldown intercept and charge in combat.

I don't think the devs know how to balance it with a patch, they probably will want to do a massive rework of the rage mechanic in an expansion ( fix it soon TM, lol)

The one thing I might want to QQ about is that they nerfed warlock burst, admitedly deservedly, even though we have lower representation than warriors (source: http://www.realmhistory.net/arena-statistics/class-breakdown.html ) and they aren't touching warriors who always do more dmg over the course of an arena match. If its ok to nerf a low rep class dmg it should be ok to nerf warrior dmg too, if the goal is to lower dmg across the board in arena.

Threads that don't contribute much to class discussion tend to get locked, not deleted. Like this one.
