0. Free Character Moves for Select PvP Realms 10/16/2009 04:02:33 PM PDT

We will be offering free character moves from select high population realms to low population PvP realms to assist in population dispersal and ratio balancing. The ability to move a character on the selected source realms will become available starting on Tuesday, October 20th at 11:00am PDT, and is scheduled to run until Tuesday, October 27 at 11:00am PDT. For the first group, Nazjatar is a Central time zone realm in the Shadowburn battlegroup and Maiev is a Pacific time zone realm in the Whirlwind battlegroup. For the second group, Thaurissan is an oceanic time zone realm in the Bloodlust battlegroup.

In the event that these realms meet our transfer goals before the scheduled end date, the transfers to or from any realm may be disabled. We highly recommend that if you are planning to transfer that you do so at your earliest convenience. No characters will be eligible for these free moves once the transfers have been closed.

Can we get some transfers to alliance or maybe some transfers off? Terrible server now.

You're allowing alliance OFF warsong? It's like 5:1 in terms of population.

Stop killing the realm geez.

have transfers for horde only off warsong, and TO alliance warsong.

This wont fix the alliance:horde ratio, it will make it worse.

I really am appalled by the horrific level of disservice warsong has seen lately.

My Alliance characters used to be on Barthilas...

I grew tired of the queues...

So as soon as a free transfer was available, I took it... to GUNDRAK!!!

Never have I seen a server so dead, so desolate, the Auction House, the Guilds, the pain and struggle of finding a group for ANYTHING!!!

I honestly believe that the bots/farmers/bank characters out number real players there...

Now I find if I had of waited another year I could have transfered my Alliance characters to to the glorious Thaurissan, where I have my Horde characters? The single greatest server in the whole Oceanic region? (for Horde at least)

Alas, I shall end this QQ and go cry some more over opportunities lost...

There's 1 alliance raiding guild left on warsong, we're outnumbered 4,5 even 6 to 1, but they're allowing alliance off instead of sending some here and calling it fixing the ratio.

It's the same on Warsong, we rarely win WG because we dont even have enough people to man 16 siege engines + turrets, let alone defend the southern towers / workshops. But somehow they've considered it a good idea to allow transfers off.

Blizzard appear to be clueless as to issues facing some realms atm.

Warsong needs MORE alliance (alot more), not less. What it needs less of is horde. Having full transfers open will do nothing but exacerbate the issue further. It's disturbing to see this level of mismanagement of their own realms.

I guess we can only hope they'll reconsider that list >< No offense to the people at blizzard who determine the necessity of these FCM's on given US realms but, the guys over in the EU are doing a far superior job.

And based on what's been posted tonight, their lead stretched quite a bit further.
