Doubtful.

Almost nobody would say the absolutely horrible things that we see on these forums every single day. People say dumb things in real life all the time and nobody with even an ounce of manners or self respect would say things half as ugly.

Have like 250 conquest now. Exchanging them for gems seems like a waste, but it is gold though. Why not let us upgrade to the next level with a ratio in place, say 5 conquest for 1 triumph?

I like that I'll be able to grab decent elemental and enhancement sets. I know the specs inside out, but I've constantly watched other shaman get pieces for said sets and then fail miserably at our class. I like that I can gear myself out and be that much more useful to my guild when we're short melee dmg or caster dmg.

Same for my alts. I LOVE that I'll have a chance to raid with my Arms warrior again when I land him some PvE gear. Apparently, PvP gear in heroics is just unacceptable.

Gems are never a waste. Stockpile a bunch of each and be ready to toss them into ICC gear.

How about giving the emblems a sale value? Let people just flat trade them in for gold if they don't have anything else they want to spend it on? Rather than having to buy gems to put on the AH.

Are there any plans to allow us to purchase mid-tier (not the top end stuff) PvE gear with honor, or perhaps emblems with honor? We can purchase PvP gear with emblems, why not the other way around?

People still need Emblems of Triumph?

Honestly these changes are only for the people late to the game to easily catch up. Someone who has raided from the inplamentation of 3.2 untill 3.3 shouldn't need many, if any at all to get everything they ever wanted.

A raider, returning to the game, or someone new to WoW entirely just has to ding 80 the week 3.3 hits. Run heroics for a week, maybe even less, get a lot of awesome gear, for almost every slot, then at minimum will be able to run the new 5 man, which drops 323 loot. Gear up on that, and be ready for ICC.

It really seems the only items protected from the easy emblem farming are weapons, but reasonable base weapons are then made available in the 5 man instances, which I am sure will be the case in the ICC 5 man, just as much as the ToC 5 man.

Doubtful, i'm not hiding anything lol, i'm just not that much of an @!#*%!* but if i need to be irl i can back it up :) just cant believe how many people are jerks on these forums for no reason at all..a simple question deserves a simple answer without some smart arse remark behind it. BTW thanks blue for the response and i wasnt trying to seem like i wanted it to be easier just wanted an answer is all .

I'd like to see a requirement where emblems of frost require items (idols, tokens, etc) from bosses in icecrown to be turned in. The reason that I like this is that ilvl 250+ gear is completely unnecessary for anyone except raiders. What do you want to do, bulldoze heroics faster? There is no point to getting good gear unless you are going to use it to down bosses that require such gear to kill them. Thereby, farming heroics to get better gear to farm heroics is retarded.

Blizz, why are there 4 different kinds of emblems? 2 types you can't even get anymore except from downgrading.

Couldn't you just merge them into 1 type of emblem and adjust the cost of items based on their lvl?

Or just remove the lower teir vendors. No one's is buying t7 for 60 emblems when i can get t8 for 58.


If I've earned Emblems of Conquest by running heroics, and you're making heroics drop Emblems of Triumph next patch....then why don't the Emblems i've earned convert to Triumph? It's the same thing.

Heroics aren't getting any more challenging. They're not dropping higher lvl items. Why are you arbitrarily changing emblems?

I know the short answer is: So we'll keep playing and paying.

I would like to know what we're supposed to do with the leftover badges and emblems we have. I still have a couple of all those lower badges and emblems. It's not really worthwhile to convert conquest and triumph down, as the better gear is at their level.

Spend them.

And what are you expecting to be able to do with badges of justice, other than buy level 70 gear?

My bad, I was just editing that. Yeah, I'm more talking about the only thing to do with you have a couple extras is to convert down. And that's not really useful. You know, if we could send those extra badges to alts (make them boa), then it would be useful.

Can I recommend that something be done with old badges of justice? I'm not asking for a trade in or anything like that. Maybe you can go to a badge vendor and, I don't know, get a rep token for various OL factions. It doesn't have to be anything spectacular, just something to do with them.

Speaking of badges, currently heirloom pieces are able to be purchased with heroism badges only. Will there be a way to buy them with current badges other then going to each vendor and trading down to the next lower, and so on and so on?
