Shield Disciple was the hawt sauce 31point Prot talent.

Charging from land into the water would desync you from the server

You were not a true PvP Warrior until you spent weeks farming mats for your Arcanite Reaper.

The same AV game you enter on Friday morning would last til late Monday evening whenever it was the holiday weekend.

Life-giving Gem was THE trinket, period.

The Unstoppable Force would knock you into the air with about a 40% proc rate, nothing like using Whirlwind and seeing 4 people bounce up in the air.

Been playing on and off since open beta. Thought I would post my old retail mage for memories sake.

I miss the days pre-honor system and raiding major cities required at least 2 full raids of level 60s to even stand a chance... then the lag. Also, Tauren Mill and STV were zones I tried to avoid at all costs, especially STV I wouldn't step in that zone unless I was level 40 and with my mount.

I was Soul Link with it was a 30 pt talent, only lasted 30 seconds, cost both caster AND pet mana, but transfered 50% of damage. Of course it didn't matter, as you couldn't command your pet while stunned and Will of the Forsaken lasted for 30 seconds.

I was so turned off by PvP because of WotF, I refused to join those new fangled "battlegrounds" for a long, long time.
