Clicker spotted!

I do both. No complaints from anyone yet. I also mouse turn, not key turn. I'm also a PvPer.

I have a different opinion than perhaps you do, but that does not mean I am wrong. It's your opinion that I am and that's fine. You're more than welcome to have a different one than my own. ;)

for melee characters maybe, not for ranged

I'll tell you now, clicking is much easier for a hunter than keybinding is.

not in pvp i think. because its not granted that you are fighting another ranged class. if a warrior whirlwinds right towards you, you want to turn and run as fast as possible ^.^

i used to keybind, then I realized this game is so pathetically easy, you'd have to be less intelligent than a rock to need keybinds to be good. Not all of us have the reaction speed of a sponge. You can say keybinds are faster all you want, but those of us who dont have downs dont need to rely on such a crutch.

dude. wait. you cant say that the time it takes to move your mouse over an icon and click will ever be shorter than the time it takes your finger to depress a key. I like clicking too, but if I'm getting serious (pvp, hard elites) I need to keybind for the speed.

people that use keybinds are the types of folks who can only react to situations. Those of us who arent bad know ahead of time what to use in the correct situation. There isnt anything in this game that cannot be predicted or anticipated.

The funny thing is I bet a large portion of the people that insult clickers are just sheep following the insult train.

When I tank on my warrior I've learned to do both and keybind.

For movement I mouse turn and based on my priority with endless rage, I spam HS bound to #1 and click devastate.

When I raid and am in Vent my guildies laugh when I open mic, because the hear me clicking devastate.

I don't feel the need to bind charge or intercept and by using Bartender I have them on a higher bar and click them when needed. Shield slam is bound to 3 and Revenge is bound to 4, CD's are clicked mostly.

Nothing wrong with doing both, I'm just tired of seeing people get ripped for not playing the way another player does. Who cares?

Nah. I'm the same way. There are only really so many buttons you can get on a mouse, and so many buttons in reach of your keys. Stuff I don't use a lot, like hurricane in my resto setups, or buffs in general, don't have a keybind since it would require more space than I have close.

I do say though that using the keyboard for movement in turning is painfully obvious and dreadfully slow, so I can see that argument, and that clicking abilities takes longer too.

The average human finger reaction time is 0.19 seconds, how can you say moving your mouse and clicking is faster than 0.19 seconds?

Good thing I still have another 1.1 seconds after that.

Guys.....Clique. It's keybound clicks!

It's a shame Blizzard's raid frames suck. Oh wait! Pitbull 4 is in beta? Who care's about Blizzard's raid frames! They are just for the dps anyway.

CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK

I find it indefinitely faster to keybind than click. I myself will admit I clicked, 2 years ago. Ever since then though I would never go without keybinding. Even on the PTR with new characters I keybind.

It's not hard, and even if you somehow have a learning disability and can't use the default UI keybinding interface you can get addons. There is no excuse.

Actually, I take that back, clicking is faster, I need wrecking ball on yet another character.

I, for one, am insulted. I have learning disabilities. I find it a lot faster to work the way I do now than to keybind or get an addon. In fact, I had an addon that my former guild required for its healers, and guess what, it made my job about ten times harder. In fact, it made my job as a healer miserable since it was faster and easier for me to work my way through choosing, clicking, and casting than it was using a stupid, system gobbling, addon. I have refused to use addons, and quite frankly, I feel far better for it. I often hear people complain about not having their addons the moment the patch comes online that I find myself grateful that I don't use them.

You play how you want to, let me play how I do, and if you don't like it, then I do not want to heal for you.

I also have devastate as one of my clickees. Thus my mouse is always on it and my most used situational abilities are all on the bar spaces directly around it so I never have far to move my mouse when I need them.

I feel a combo of both clicking and key bindings is the best option for me.

I see eternal suffering, I see torment, I see rage...I see everything.

0.19 seconds is it? thank god for the global cooldown of 1.0 seconds. because as long as you are faster than that, youll be fine either way :)

It just depends on the situation and the timing needed. I generally keep my instants within the keybind realm so I can use them quickly. For things that take longer or things I don't use a lot, clicking is fine. I do have my eye on a new mouse that I want though. I wouldn't mind having some keybinds a bit closer at hand there. ;)

as far as PVE is concerned I find it doesnt matter.

In PVP though it makes all the difference. I do a little of both myself. I have some abilities not bound and I click them. (Healthstone is one for some reason. I do 2s with a lock on my druid)

And I cant count how many times Ive died due to not getting my mouse to my healthstone fast enough.

Or needing to use two different abilities in conjunction that I click and finding I cant do it fast enough.

I have all my spells keybound, but most of the utility spells have something like CTRL + another button so in the heat of battle it may still be quicker to click rather than having to press two buttons at once and take my right hand off the mouse.

I would strongly strongly strongly recommend binding your main nukes to your mouse buttons though, I have Arcane Blast on the right side mouse button, Arcane Barrage is mousewheel up and Arcane Missiles [nochanneling] is mousewheel down.

I can not tell you there is not much difference in pvp with clicking and keybinds. I have no problem with what ever class I play clicking. I have killed plenty of keybinder, mouse turners.

also you still cant deny its faster, even if you're Zuul and dont need the extra time
