....be available for level 80 battles?

So far Direbrew is the only boss who has leveled to 80, while ones like Ahune and the Greench have not had any level ups in the years they've been around. Will the Headless Horseman be a level 80 boss? Or will he wimp out at 70?

Wouldn't it be better for everyone if he didn't?

I mean... I have my mount and pet already from him, so I don't care, but I bet the majority would want him to stay at 70, so they have more chances.

He will be level 80, IC level gear, 10 emblems of triumph, and 5 mounts at one time so everybody gets it.

What about loot?

Let me guess : easily farmable high level epic loot that some people will still complain about because of a somewhat low drop-rate.

Well that doesn't tell us much really. Remember, the plans for hero classes to be in Vanilla WoW, Aerial combat in WotLK, and for us to have dance studios? You heard it here first folks, the Horseman will not be updated this year.

Oh, swell, more group-only content designed for those who can't take two steps without having a full party.

Mr. Blue, will the sinister squashling only drop from the horseman this year? or will it still drop from the treat bags as you guys hotfixed in halfway through last year?

Edit: this is a hot topic for antisocial gnomes with alts just needing the squashling to complete their hallow's end achievements.

will he be severely undertuned like coren was?

At 70 coren with 5 poeple still lasted longer, you actually had to plan for stuff like disarm, barreled! and brew or being bonked. Now, 5 80s in blues could zerg him in 10 seconds before any abilities even get used. It was pretty sad how severely undertuned he was this year, his abilities didn't even have to be taken into concideration.

Don't mess the horseman up too.
