Well just wondering if Nov 11th is going to be the last day I can log in?

I will not no matter what ever ever ever merge my account with any other game account made by blizzard or any other company, EVER!

I hope you people understand this at blizzard whenther you agree with it or not. If i have to do anything to my account to be able to log in, except pay when my subscription runs out , than I will not and blizzard can expect no more money from me.

Maybe I misunderstood something or am reading some of these posts wrong but the day i have to merge my account with anything is the day i stop playing wow.

I fail to see what's so ambiguous about the posts.

if you try to log in on Nov 12 and haven't merged to a battle.net account, you won't be able to log in.

If you pay by CC and have it set to automatically bill you, I suggest you go and cancel now so you don't get another charge.

Maybe this is a dumb question but why are you against moving to Battlenet? Do you feel morally repulsed by it? Is it against your religion? Did Battlenet murder your family in cold blood so that joining would make you no better than those amoral killers?

Why? Your WoW account is run by Blizzard. Battle.net is run by Blizzard. What do you imagine is the difference?

Because the current system works just fine. And given how many times I've seen only people with b.net accounts unable to log in, there's no guarantee the same is true of the new system.

Besides, now everyone who knows my email knows my login.

Never had a problem logging in after merging my account. EVER.

And here's a novel idea. So they know your email? Well, if they know your email password (Which they shouldnt) make your battle.net password different.

I don't see what the big deal is. Basically you change your login from Troll to troll@hotmail.com.

I think you may have misunderstood what is going on with this.

Here are a few things I got out of Blizzcon this year when I attended it.

1. Management, not only will this help you manage your WoW account, but any other Blizzard account that is current or coming out in the future. I.E. Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3

2. Account tools, You'll be able to use some of the new features that come with a Battle.net account. I.E. an ability to keep up with friends whom may be playing different Blizzard games at any give time. (Think of your friends list in WoW)

3. Ease of access to play and pay. Pick the account(s) you want to keep active with one accont name and password for multiple accounts. No need to keep track of multiple account names and passwords.

Those are just a "few" of the things that come to mind. But there are many more features that will be available once it's ready for the public.
