Q u o t e: Making your account more secure TOTALLY = stealing your car.
God you're dumb.
You know, there are pluses and minuses to Blizzard's new system. However, if you think that account security is a STRENGTH of the new system, then you have totally drank the koolaid. It is a step backwards. I'm not worried about it - I converted already. But if you think the way they set it up makes you more secure, then you don't know much about online security.

It does make your security stronger.
Get hacked?
Change your account name and password.
Hacker is stuck with a key that no longer fits the lock.
It's no more dangerous than having a normal account.
Your logic is no match for my stupidity!™
Q u o t e: I wouldn't call what the BEs have so much an "army" as I would a pride rally.

Q u o t e:
Because the current system works just fine. And given how many times I've seen only people with b.net accounts unable to log in, there's no guarantee the same is true of the new system.
Besides, now everyone who knows my email knows my login.
Ok, real quick then, If this is such a HUUUUGE issue to you then there is a small simple fix. Go to Google, get a new gmail (hey its free why not) and use that for your B.net. Congratz! You can still play WoW and not worry about people knowing your login! Wowzers!
Seriously though, as far as account security comes its the password not the login you need to worry about.
