0. 2k Honor for 30 Stone Keepers? 10/13/2009 11:20:59 AM PDT

Does anyone else think this is a bit low? I realize you get 10 per quest in WG but thats once a week. 2k Honor you can get in one AV if you play it right. Either raise the honor you can buy with the shards or lower the amount needed, 2k is not worth 30 shards.

You also get stonekeeper shards out of instances when your faction controls WG, so really they are more available than you seem to think.

I jumped headfirst into the general forums and now I'm paralyzed from the neck up.

I bought 3 relentless pieces from just these 2k honor turn ins. It's a bit easier than I expected to be honost. (fyi they are account bound)

not the first time PvP gear was found in PvE instances.

it is low, but its also more of a token use for them after all other uses for them have been exhausted.

you'll probably run out of uses for the honor before you run out of other uses for the tokens...

They accumulate pretty quickly if you run instances while your faction controls WG. Between those, the semi-weekly quests in WG, actual battlegrounds.. honor racks up really fast.

Not at all, if you want honor, do battlegrounds if you don't want to do it by other means?

It's heirloom honor. You can pass it to an alt. Spending 30 shards to send 2k honor to an alt and buy the trinket is a cheaper option over the 250 shard heirloom trinket, although there are more disadvantages.

They accumulate pretty fast. I think I have about 900 of them on one character. And I've started running most of my characters through the WG weeklies. If you do them early in the week, you can do them twice in a given week.

It's just like when BC first came out and many classes best pve gear (especially weapons) could be found via arena. You dont have to run heroics to get honor, you just happen to get shards while doing so. I dont have any stats to back me up on this but I'm pretty sure you'll gain far more honor running BG's then by running heroics to get these shards.
