I just completed every cities valiant dailies, and my question is do I unlock any new dailes from finishing all of these? im not exalted with 3 of the cities, and am I just out of luck now? I have the 3 dailies from the sunreavers and the 4 from the other building (threat from above, cit, and the other 2), so I guess I am just out of luck? I turned in my 25/25 valiant seals for my last city just now, and no new quests are showing up. is that what is supposed to happen?

I know that when I finished the Valiant Dailies (yesterday) new quests showed up for me, but I am Exalted with Sunreavers, AC, and the Horde.

Once you are exalted with the remaining 3 cities you will become a full crusader and have another 5 daily quests available. I'm not sure how far away you are from being exalted, but by choosing the champion's write reward from the dailies that offer it or going and doing some quests in the early zones you can get exalted with them pretty quickly.

Get UC, SMC, and TB to exalted. Won't take too long since you're already revered with them, looks like, and that'll give you the achievement that gives you Crusader title, which unlocks new dailies in the big tent.

What he said. Unless Runecloth is going really cheap on your server, you're better of picking the writs because they give spill-over rep for the other cities, and runecloth turn-ins only give rep for that one city. And quests <lvl 10 don't give spill-over rep, so you'll probably want to do the 2nd tier zones.

Yes, as said you need your city rep exalted, as well as argent crusade I think

Unless you're a DK, doing the 4 quests from the argent crusade tent will yield argent crusade rep. If you aren't a DK you'll have to grind argent crusade rep like you do with other northrend reps

Now, city reps can be gained by various means

-as said, get the champion's writ from the threat from above quests and use them to buy commendations for 250 rep a turn in (and 125 to others IIRC). This is the most "hassle free" way, you stay in northrend

If you want to do more than that, you'll have to rely on "old school" ways that people used back in classic WoW
-go back to old world and do quests, rep varies from single digits to triple digits (trivia: back in classic WoW, max level characters get 1 or 2 rep on lowbie quests, nowadays they give full rep, could be as low as 5 rep but could go as high as 500 or even 1000)
-turn in runecloth (you first have to turn in 60 wool, 60 silk, and 60 mageweave to unlock repeatable runecloth turn-ins) for 75 rep a turn in
-do AV, it gives IF or Org rep at first, once you're exalted with IF or Org the rep will go towards the next highest city rep

The Lich King is preparing something cold and dark to welcome our heroes to Icecrown Citadel

What is the object you ask? A summoning stone, of course :)

Translation: You still need to grind a lot to open up new dailies that offer you less money overall than the dailies you are currently doing.

Grinding is stupid game design.

It's actually the absence of game design, but an abundance of mobs.

Yep, you're pretty much out of luck other than doing it the slow way through writs and runecloth. It's unfortunate that after finishing all the Valiant quests that you can't continue to pick them up for any cities that you have not yet reached Exalted with.

I know when I did it, I spent a good chunk of time calculating which order to represent each city, how long to represent each one, and which city to turn in writs for each day in order to get my last four cities to Exalted on the exact same day. I ended up with 35 extra Valiant Seals (you don't have to turn them in once you get 25 and all cities use the same seals, so you can just keep doing quests for the cities you are low with). The math was annoying, and it's silly to think that you need to do that in order to efficiently get to Crusader.

It's not just the rep that's annoying. It's a pain to try and save up the seals to buy stuff.

At a MAX of 10 a day from dailies alone, 13 if you do H ToC and 14 if you get lucky on a bag drop, it takes at least 9 days to purchase a mount with the standard 100 seals.

Let's go over some math shall we?

5 purchasable mounts at 5 seals with added gold = 25 seals.

5 MORE mounts added, purchasable @ 100 seals per mount = 500 seals.

We're just getting started: 5 Vanity pets @ 40 seals per, thats another 200 seals.

Add the Sunreaver mount (150), the Hippogryph (another 150), and the Argent Warhorse, (yet ANOTHER 150), that adds up to 450 seals.

Let's not forget the Dragonhawk, that's 150, PLUS the Pony bridle for your Gruntling, that's 150 more, so 300 seals.

Then the Tabard, which is 50. And of course all of this is ignoring any and all heirloom gear, and god help any of you who are trying to get all of these things on top of leveling an alt.

So add everything together and that's 1525 seals. Assuming 11 seals a day to average out days you get lucky vs days you feel like doing H ToC, that's ~140 days where you do all 10 dailies.

Actually, that doesn't seem too god awful. The money's good, the dailies are easy, and this is fine filler content that gives us something to do when we're not raiding or pvping.

YOU MEAN I ACTUALLY HAVE TO DO SOMETHING TO GET WHAT I WANT?

But seriously, if you like pets, get the pets. If you like mounts, get the mounts. What are you %@***ing about? It's only 9 days for a mount. It's really not that hard.

By the way, you can buy the pets with gold from other players, and the heirloom items with badges. So you can cross all of those off of your list.

I recommend taking a buddy into strat or scholomance and tear the place UP... by the time you are done, you will have BAGS full of runecloth... each stack giving 75 rep after the initial turnins. If all you loot is runecloth and gold and have a ton of bag space, you will haul out a chunk of rep each time. Not only that, if your buddy doesn't need the rep, their bag space can serve as extra runecloth storage.

The last time I went in there, I got 300 runecloth, and that was from half the instance. I only stopped there because I ran out of bagspace and sacrificial items. I was also looting everything to sell. Had I been after runecloth, I'd have had at least 200 more cloth. 500 cloth.. 25 stacks... 75 per stack... 1875 rep. I wouldn't call runecloth slow :P Since you can farm those like crazy... and repeatedly.

Farming for runecloth works if that's your thing, maybe depending on class/spec (not sure I'd wanna take that route as a disc or holy priest, without mage bread and holy nova spam). I find it's not as useful as just working on dailies, doing a few extra valiant quests with factions for rep with them, and doing other things while the rep comes in steady.

What you should have done was not turn in your 25 marks. You can do the same dailies over and over and over again for one faction so long as you don't turn in that final quest.

On the topic of the champiuons seal mounts. Don't buy the epic ground mounts for 2 reasons.
1. In Cataclysm they will be completely obsolete
2. With your new exalted status you can buy 6 or 7 of that factions mounts for less than 50 gold

Hey slick, I got exhaulted with all the cities during the dailies, so apparently if you actually do quests while leveling, its shocking, but you dont have to go back.

I'd still like to know why when u Faction transfer you need to grind them all over again (well, not the city rep).......I just can't bring myself to do it s second time.
