Actually, Ice Lance has about a 50% chance to crit on a frozen target that is wearing Resilience gear.

It's a clunky talent. I like the idea, but... quite RNG.

I wonder though where are the points coming in order to fill frozen core in a pvp build...

Considering I can get down to 1.6 with Trinkets/IV what's the big deal?

I really wouldn't expect this to go through without at least some change/nerf to RMP.

I dropped a point from Frostbite and 2 points from Piercing Ice, but you could just put 2 points into Frozen Core and go 2/3 Piercing Ice.

Warlock "shatter combo" is also getting nerfed to the ground next patch. That being said, lol @ even more Frost bloat.

this is a great buff. ice lance crit while running away then quick cast frostbolt. stick and move, its the mage way.

now they just need to consolidate some of the talents in the frost tree so we have enough points to get this.

And Warlock damage should = Mage damage, right? Considering Mages are hardly EVER focused. Lets let one of the few casters that are able to freecast equal a destro lock's damage. GOT YA

When I heard the cata plan to get rid of passive talents, I was like "but how will blizzard make that many new talents?".

And then they keep making talents like this and the book that is shadowform, and I realize all they have to do is break apart the current ones.

Sorry, Mage damage will still be leaps and bounds behind Destro damage, even with the nerf.

Chaos Bolt hits for ~4-5k and Incinerate hits for ~4k while Frostbolts still crit for ~6k.

Shatter combo involves a frostbolt. this will just make that window better and allow mages not to have to stack so much haste to make use of that window.
