it's not an advantage on a pve server unless you're trying to raid zul'aman at level 12 and don't know not to flag yourself

pve servers don't flag you until you step into actual capitols.

It's the same deal as deadmines. I've seen horde go there, but usually since the instance is out of the way most people don't bother them. Instances have always been pretty neutral for me. Few people gank in instance areas mainly because they just don't want the trouble.

SM is the exception. Run for your life into that instance or you regret it.

Q u o t e:
I believe - though I'm not certain - that on a PvE server, you're flagged for PvP when you enter enemy territory.

Nope. On a PvE server, you are only auto-flagged if you enter an enemy main city (Undercity, etc).

Ally can go to ghostlands easily via the mountain pass (and thru the portal there ) from EPL.
The portal is just there to prevent non-BC accounts from going to ghostlands.

Entering ghostlands does NOT flag you on a PvE server.

If you want to be heard, don't give them a reason to shut you down.

Ghostlands are already contested

The Ghostlands is Horde territory.

From what I've heard about Zul'Aman, the next 10-man raid, it sounds quite interesting. I have one concern though... Its in Horde territory.

Youll be fine Legolas.

Fine as in corpse camped. Enjoy!

Q u o t e:

one side gets the advantage of not pvp'ing if they dont want to making it unfair that is the issue here.

It'd be much more fair to let the level 70+ Alliance players waiting for the rest of their ZA raid to run around griefing level 12 BE players. Yup.

EDIT: spelling

That's not his point.

His point is that Horde can just hang around outside the portal on PvP servers without fear of being ganked, but alliance must always be on the lookout.

We are aware of the location of Zul'Aman and players' concerns regarding it, but when this dungeon is available on the PTRs I encourage you to head over and give it a try. There may be some fighting involved but this tends to happen outside of a lot of dungeons already.

The same thing they did to prevent Alliance from "abusing" the privilege of BRM being a quick hop from Stormwind... absolutely nothing.

When I first read this I thought it said "The same thing we do every night, Pinky......TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!"

Post on your main next time.

even if they added a gnomeregan style port-in, you're still gonna have to engage some un-tagged horde between said portal and the entrance

Unless the premade characters are made from a new template for 2.3 testing (and assuming we get premades), they spawn in front of Zul'Aman. This leads to a lot of people camping out around Zul'Aman, either because they haven't gotten their characters up and running yet or because they like to gank Alliance who are zoning in and can't defend themselves. Point being, the PTR may be worse than a live realm in this regard. :/

I laughed really hard at your comment. Not making fun of you, I just thought the random insert of "happy" was awesome. It will be happy outside there, when I'm pvping =D

Stop crying alliance. Just be damn happy that there even putting in a new dungeon. They give us something, and all we do is critique it. If life gives you lemons, squeeze the juice out and throw it into peoples eyes.

I would like to know what steps the developers are taking to prevent Horde from abusing this advantage... both on PvP and PvE servers.
