Thassarian seems like an awfully nice guy, and I don't want to be the one to go tell his sister a bunch of scrubs wiped a raid and he died, again.

I've heard good things aout Koltira too.

I like the new model. She looks a lot less "Aw, shucks"-ish. I hope she'll also stop doing the human female shoulder-shrugging-sighing thing.

Also I'm guessing that the Dwarf and Orc in warrior armour added as new NPCs in the MMO champion post (and shown in the Warrior T10 preview) are Muradin and Saurfang. The hair matches.

We feel now is a very good time to get Jaina an update since her and Sylvanas will play key roles in the five-player Icecrown Citadel dungeon. That isn't to say other heroes will not receive similar treatment in the future. ;)

I totally agree and I am liking this new model, but rather than just updating heroes we might see here and there. How about those heroes we see the entire time we are playing every time we log on?

Not trying to be snide, but the jump in quality from Vanilla WoW's races to the Blood Elves and Draenei was noticeable and it seems to be an even bigger jump now going into Cataclysm's Worgen and Goblins. I think it's time we got some love to the older models (even if it's something optional as opposed to forced as mentioned at Blizzcon).

While on the subject here is an odd thought. Anyone find it odd the racial tabard and emblem for the Forsaken is totally distorted when worn by Undead toons?

maybe not by Cata, but it's on the to-do list. You guys have been pretty good about keeping up with your to-do lists, I have faith that we'll have updated models by 2012.

I'm impressed, but I preferred her previous face. Now it kind of makes me think of Lucy from Avenue Q..

It's fine if the humans remain looking like neanderthals, as long as goblins look awesome!

Your mission: desert your current position and duties and head immediately to wherever the artists work. Bring a box with you and cut out eye holes in it. Position the box where you can see how goblin art is developing, then get inside of the box. If you see ANYTHING that looks out of place or simply not good enough (I'm expecting goblins, my favourite race, to look stunning and nothing less) then immediately leap out of the box and emit a high-pitched keening until the artists remedy the problem.
