Sometimes I pick a gnome warrior up and just throw them at the enemy line. Its like a cannon ball of blades and teeth. The screams of "By the Warchief, GET IT OFF ME!!" are quite satisfying.
I didn't have a problem on PTR. Is there a bug I didn't see?
Some people on the PTR (generally people who copied characters with extensive Argent Tournament experience) have had some trouble getting into the Pit of Saron, since they're not in the right phase for the instance entrance. :/

This patch just recently hit the PTR, I'd imagine it will be quite a while before it goes live. I'd say another month at least.

We will be lucky if we get 3.3 by the end of November. This patch is far from being complete.

Once released, there will be at least 5 months of 3.3 patch before 4.0.x comes out. One month after 4.0.x comes out, Cataclysm. So, you can expect the new expansion late Summer next year.

Blizzard said they're aiming for a 2010 release date.
So. Anywhere between January 1st, or December 31st of that year.
