Q u o t e:

As long as you're here, how about giving some hints as to what the Alliance is going to do about all the Horde land-grabbing that goes on in Cataclysm?

So far all we know is that "The Horde takes a bunch of land." and apparently the Alliance is just gonna lay down and take it?

Really, other than Worgen joining up, we haven't anything about the Alliance in the coming expansion.

I'm not here to explain the storyline of the coming months, and I'm not particularly fond of fielding loaded questions. ;) I'd like the discussion to remain on topic, in any case, and the topic is Garrosh and the concerns surrounding him -- not the Alliance.

Apologies.

All I really wanted to know is if the other (Horde) faction leaders are going to be involved? Or if they are going to take the spectator seat like the Alliance leaders have.

I will say in all honesty that we'll see activity from some leaders who haven't done a whole lot openly in the past. Will that suffice? :)

I don't see the word "Horde" in my above statement, do you?

Nope, but I do see the word "leaders" and none of the Alliance qualify there, so I assumed you meant Horde. :P

Hear that, Mekkatorque? Your Gnomish ingenuity is going to be put to use fixing the cataclysm.

In more seriousness, Garrosh leading the Horde is just the incentive we allies need to visit Orgrimmar more often. Fighting Thrall, who comes off as being so much more levelheaded, patient, and understanding than King Wrynn, sits badly with players who want to believe that they're fighting for something ... well, worthwhile.

So we storm in and get our Death to the Warchief achievement. Great, all our children are doomed to perpetual conflict now.

We storm in and kill Garrosh as he is. We've given peace a chance!

(Speaking of which, will [Death to the Warchief] become a Feat of Strength? <.<)

Bringing you the latest in animal polymorphism, conjured refreshments, and easy travel to major cities!

Oh yes, and I also DPS from time to time when they're desperate enough to consider a mage.

They're giving what info they can, we can read lack of some words and inclusions of others in different

ways than they are typed in a thread like this.

-

Let them post what they can, it's likely all we can expect for

now, but they have gotten me curious as to what happens now, since seeing the leaders respond to this

massive upheaval is a welcome change since most of the leaders are not exactly doing much in the

WotLK expansion.

Oh man oh man.

Will Velen get to swing around his staff and scream "YOU NO KNOW KUNG-FU"?

Which brings up a question for me that I've forgotten!

Who is going to be the faction leader for goblins? There's only one that's been mentioned, but it's the Trade Prince that tries to sell them off as slaves! That doesn't sound like someone they'd wanna keep around.

Are you kidding? They're goblins. I imagine they admire that kind of thing.

Idk about you guys, but personally, I actualy like the idea of garrosh being an arrogant leader of the horde and escalating the war with the alliance. I think that the whole "good horde" aspect was interesting to see for a few years but has become a bit played out by now. In my opinion, garrosh would only make the drama in the game more interesting if he had a violent persona. Also, like I've seen somewhere, if garrosh turns out to be racist and doesn't allow any race but orcs and Tauren into the part of org with the ah and the bank, not only would that cut down on lag when entering that area, but it would also populate other horde capitals and would be an interesting twist to see a racist dictator take charge of your faction and how that affects you as an inhabitant of Azeroth.

Bottom line is if garrosh does turn out to be a racist, warlike leader that would make the horde a bit more evil, I would be all for it :)

If he does theres no way Garrosh can change from how he is now unless he changes to something even worse

Well given the rumors (and potential confirmation) of gnomeregan being reclaimed, we have the alliance under wraps there.

Does this mean vol'jin founds a new troll capital (sen'jin or somewhere else?)

Know what I think Cata needs? To fix how everyone sits in org/SW because all transportation ends up there. Make a port outside the capital's zone and link all capitals to it.
