I"m well aware of the scathing flames I'm going to get on this, but I'm being serious.

* Ardent Defender Nerf - I understand this and even support it, this is fine.
* Touched by the Light nerf - I understand this one as well, it's also fine.

* Judgements of the Just Nerf - The reduction in cooldown to Hammer of Justice provided by this talent has been reduced to 5/10 seconds instead of 10/20 seconds.

This one has been giving me nothing but problems. Sure I get the fact that people were complaining about the stun duration but let's take a look at it, realy.

PALADIN - PRE NERF.
1st rotation = 6 sec stun + 3 sec stun , followed by 11 second CD
2nd rotation = 6 sec stun + 4 sec CD + 3 second Stun + 8 second CD

PALADIN - POST NERF
1st rotation - 6 second stun + 3 sec stun followed by 21 second CD
2nd rotation - 6 second stun + 3 sec stun followed by 21 second CD

Yeah, we now have an EXTREMELY long 21 seconds between stuns, that's more then a 100% increase in CD space, which is just huge in arena. literally game loosing huge. Why? Because in arenas a major factor is CC. A good druid will chain cyclone the , a good mage will Chain polymorph


Let's see how we compare to a Druid.

Druid - 6 sec cyclone+ 3 sec cyclone+ 1.5 sec cyclone, followed by 10 second CD (for diminishing returns to reset). THIS IS EQUAL OR BETTER TO PALLY STUNS PRE-NERF, and druids with HOTS and various instants are much less suceppable to CC then a prot pally.

Now with an eternity 21 second CD between stuns I'm stuck in cyclones, fears, polymorphs exponentially more then before the patch.

Now I'm not nessisarily asking for a return to a 20 second HoJ but a 25 second HoJ Would at least get us off the same CD rotation as Avenger's shield. Change the talent to 7/15 seconds off the CD

Alright folks, feel free to flame on, Blizz it would be nice if you took a moment to consider my request.

Cyclone is casted, HoJ is not. The two cannot be compared as you have done above.

When you compared it to druids you forgot to add the GCD for shifting forms and the casting time cyclone.

Yes I understand a cycloned target can't be killed. But in essentially 2v1 their partner sure can, and quick. Of course almost every class has talents to reduce stun duration there are none to reduce a cyclone.

I'm not saying the talents are (or should be identical) and I'm not even asking to back to the same CC CD as a druid. I'm asking for a 5 extra second reduction so two spells don't share the same cooldown.

at least it's only a 10sec nerf, DKs have their 3 sec stun from 30sec cd to1min now.

DR takes about 17 seconds to reset, not 10 seconds.

(It's supposed to be 15 seconds, but it's not actually, it's well known that it's really around 17-18 seconds)

Yes, but their partner can. That's the whole point. Paladins definitely get the short end of the stick when it comes to CC in the arenas.

Cyclone has to be one of the most god awful OP spells ever created as far as Arenas are concerned. The worst part is they gave it to druids which were already the strongest arena healers.

That being said, If there was one thing I would have them fix about arena's it's drinking. Shouldn't even be allowed period.

My bigger beef with HoJ is that I'm having trouble interrupting in PvE. It's very hard to ask PuG DPS to interrupt.

I don't understand why HoJ is our interrupt too. I'd be fine if they increased the cooldown on HoJ while giving us a short cooldown interrupt (which requires shields).

Cyclone was around before druids became powerful. In fact it was nerfed (originally you couldn't even trinket it) near the start of season 2, before druids were very dominant at all. It's also been here through all of season 5, when druids were awful, and now, when druids are entirely mediocre.

I mean, it's obviously an extremely powerful ability, but saying things like "it was given to druids even though they were already the strongest arena healers" is complete nonsense. Druids have certainly been the most powerful arena healers at a number of points in time, but nothing has changed about Cyclone the entire time.

Yep sitting around the top 10% in 2's I must be an idot. Fortunatly 9/10 people are bigger idots then my (by your measure)

If you'd take a harder look at the 2 teams you'll see I'm not active in them. I fill in for a few games when friends are short for points. If you had any friends you'd know what that's about.

Anyway, if I suck so bad then give me back 5 seconds of stun CD. You shoudln't care because you'll beat me 2v1 anyway right?

Paladin's only offense becomes non-existant.

Druid gets one immune message while spamming clone.

Priests mana burn gets immuned once while spamming it
