Let me guess, you're not in a progression based raiding guild. You haven't seen some of the best players in your guild quit the game in disgust. You haven't had to spend months recruiting to fill those spots with competent raiders, amirite? I'm sure you're happy WoW is turning into Hello Kitty Island Adventure II, some of us aren't so happy about it....crazy concept I know.
Sounds like you're not doing what makes you happy... if those things are a hassle, why do them in a game?

Back to your cage. Your avatar is befitting.
Q u o t e: Oh, come on. All of these "If you'd just play my class, you'd understand" comments are a bit silly. We designed your class. We know how it works.

And they will be the high end/Icecrown Citadel level emblems.
Hotness incarnate... now all I need is a release date! I'm guessing early December. This will allow the wife and I to spend some time gearing up alts in preparation.

Funny, that's not what took WoW to the top of the MMO market, actually it was just the opposite. QQcasuals weren't catered to in Vanilla or TBC yet subscription numbers grew hand over fist.
Maybe you're too young to remember the evolution of MMOs, or maybe you're just forgetting, but the big picture is a an UNCHANGING curve of play getting more and more casual. And the more that curve moves, the higher the adoption rate goes.
That curve goes back much, much further than WoW, sunshine. I was playing MMOs back in the early 90s when they had no GUI and everything was text commands. TBC, even vanilla raiding, even EQ raiding, was total QQcasual in comparison to what grouping in those was like. Back in the MUD days, MMOs were "just for Comp Sci majors with uni accounts and telnet".
Having seen this progression over the last 16-17 years, trust me when I say that the WoW raider who whines about the QQcasual and quits in "disgust" are being replaced by folks like my retired father, my wife, and my non-gaming bro-in-law who are getting socialized to MMOing through stuff like Facebook and finally deciding that its not just for "24 year old guys with no friends and no life".
The "not just for" statements will just keep getting more broad, the sub numbers will keep going up, and making the learning, gearing, and time-commitment process "loleasy" are the REASON for it, not an impediment.

So does raiding once a week for 3-4 hours equal effort into ones hobby. (Keep mind with every single raid people moan about how easy it is.)
Or does logging in every day and doing the daily for several months. Or doing multiple dailies a day every day to get the same gear raiders get in one 10 minute fight putting more effort into ones hobby.

I believe that making every boss from heroics and raids drop emblems of triumph it's too extreme (i am glad they changed the old badges to conquest on the 3.2 btw, i am not elitist and i consider myself as a casual player), but to triumph is way to much. If i will have to choose, i would change it only Icecrown Citadel's 5 man Dungeon Heroic to drop Emblem of Triumph (because the gear there is equivalent to Trial of Crusader 10man), Trial of Crusader and Grand Crusader and Ulduar Hard Modes

Effort, sure... but you don't sound happy. With any passion comes the tedium of struggle at times. Your previous post was full of resentment for others not having to work as hard as you to achieve the same end.

Bornakk, has anyone over at Blizz considered giving out the "higher" tier emblems from heroics if the team performs an achievement against a boss (regardless if they have earned the achievement previously). That is, do the heroic "hard-mode/achievement" style and be rewarded with a higher tier badge. Do it "normal", get a regular badge.
For example:
- defeat Hadronox = Badge of Conquest
- Hadronox Denied = Badge of Triumph
