Any ideas on when they will fix the part where they delete my Crusader title and all those long months of hard work to get it? I'm working on 100 mounts and farming all the Argent and Crusdader daily's to get Champion Seals to get them. I don't want to have to start over from a Valiant. I understand it's a programming error from what that GM guy Vrakthris told me (i hate that guy) but wtf I'm not paying you to delete a chunk of my character! Any ideas on when they're fixing this? Are they?

Is the Argent Tournament going to end? I recall hearing rumors before it came out it was only going to be here for 3.1 and 3.2

At this point there is no estimate on when or if we will be altering the paid faction change service to not reset the Argent Tournament questlines. It does set you back a bit but if you are aiming to farm for all the mounts then you can recover from it pretty quickly.
If we have plans to remove content from the game we will try and give a heads up as early as possible, but right now there are no plans to remove the Argent Tournament.

If you'd been doing all of the dailies every day, you could have had them all by now, like I do. Don't blame Blizzard for your slacking off.
For the Alliance: I will kill the Goblin King. I will bring his head to Ironforge, present it to my King, and post it on a pike for all to see.
To the Horde: Genn Greymane will kick your ass.
Fortunately the faction change service is entirely optional ;)
A lot of people were desparate for a faction change and would love+use it even if all achievements+rep+etc. were dropped. I'm really amazed at how much work they did to make faction changing as seamless as possible.
It's easy to forget how much is involved until you go check that page they put up of all the mappings between factions for rep, mounts, items, and so on. The fact that the Argent Tournament is the only thing that "fell through the cracks" (so to speak) is impressive.
I'll bet they COULD do it of course, and it's just a question of spending an enormous amount of time getting it right, versus getting the faction change out and putting that time into other content. I've read some things about daily quests (eg. bugs) that make me think the way they're implemented behind the scenes is quite a mess.
Word to the wise as well... you also lose a huge chunk of your previous factions quest. I was prepared for the argent tournament. I lol'd when I saw I had the 2000 quests achievement (used to be at 2300 or 2400ish) then saw right below it the counter for 1500 quests reading 1100ish.
It makes sense of course, i just wasn't expecting it. Now i get to go do the rogue quest for poison again !
My gf plays a shaman and was making lvl 80 dailys worth in gold for the totem quests. =D

It seems to me that a painless if inelegant solution would be to just give xfered characters 25 seals of the valiant per "Champion of City" achievement they lose in the process, so you could immediately champion each city of your new faction with your 125 seals.
So lets say that I was going to faction transfer on my main...
I understand that I would have to "start over" with the tourney and championing and such, but all of the Champions Seals that I've accumulated...will they transfer over as well? Or should I spend them before I transfer my toon?

Wow, I certainly hope not. Glad it's not being put on the chop block any time soon, but why would it be even mentioned as being under the axe in the first place? Surely a reason could be found to keep it relevant after the threat of Arthas is diminished or gone.
Thats no excuse why everything other than that carries over. Its going to stay that way because they want you wasting your time doing them.
I think that this is what it comes down to. $ you'll stay on for at least 28 more days (the total # of days to do this AGAIN) if you really want it that bad, and that's an extra $14
I, for one, would like to see this be changed and effect retro-active faction xfers. I swear that disclaimer was not there when I xferred. I even brought up the point that (when i first saw it, post xfers(3)) it was on the wrong page. Very misleading, total load of crap, and after doing it completely on 3 toons, I'm not too jazzed about having to do it again. Now I have champion's seals (150) i can't even spend :|
I distinctly remember the first round transfers not having a clue this would happen, and the surprised posts on the forums. By the third or fourth day, Argent reset was pretty common knowledge. I took until the third week to transfer with full knowledge this would happen as did many folks, but nevertheless it's a very ugly downside to what is otherwise an excellently executed service.
