Hard core mentality on a casual schedule!

Have too many friends? Have a girlfriend/boyfriend? Got married? Work too many hours? Playing Aion, Champions, or some other game as well? Just not interested in too much of a commitment?

Well, < Natural Order > might be the place for you. However, it should only be a consideration if:

1) You play to win. You don't play often but when you are able to, you play with dedication and drive. You understand gems, enchants, stats, and boss strats.

2) You obey the golden rule.

3) You have an open mind and are not easily offended by adult humor, nor too thin skinned to take some constructive criticism.

A brief history of Natural Order in a nutshell:

We were founded on the RP server, Steamwheedle Cartel a few months before Burning Crusade as a casual 10 man guild with the intention to do whatever we were capable of without raiding more than two or three nights per week. We learned quickly that our core had the capability to do a lot, even with a weird group composition and quite often short on numbers. We managed to maintain a 3 night/wk schedule all the way up to the Eredar Twins in Sunwell Plateau. Our victory over Illidan before his nerf was a significant accomplishment for raiding only 3 nights per week!

We moved to Ysera under the name < Contrast > with a new, fresh start, and a more hardcore focus. It did not quite pan out, but the core that loved the casual schedule yet hardcore mentality is rather persistent, and under my lead (as it has always been), we are reforming with the original goals, under the original name.

We are actively recruiting all classes, all specs, at all gear levels. Right now, we are not interested in your item levels nor your ability to attend all raids.

This is the opportunity for the player who knows he is a good player, wants to see content, but just hasn't been able to get into a guild.

This is also the opportunity for the player who wants to be at the beginning and work up with others, being part of the elite core in a guild with a lot of culture, history, and when it comes down to it-- fun!

Right now our raid nights are Thursday 8:00pm-11:00pm & Saturday 8:00pm-11:00pm. The third night may be any night of the week, joining the guild now gives -you- an influence on that night! Members of the raiding core decide when to raid-- we are a flexible guild.

Once we bolster more of a core, the third night will be formed. Raids are determined based on raid comp and what will provide the most progression for each individual in the raid. The guild is viewed as a team, thus loot is awarded in ways that benefit the whole while remaining considerate to each individual's investment.

What the hell dude? Dux is cool.

I think people still don't understand me, whether on Steamwheedle or here. If someone is smart and understands the big picture, I like them. Dux is both, and despite how things ended with Contrast, I like him.

Our interest paths just aren't crossing right now. Hopefully Dux still kinda sees some positive traits in me-- but if not, I still think he's the man, and I <3 him.

Bump for some of the best people I've ever raided with, and the GM who taught me everything I needed to know to become a good raider. This is a group that knows how to have fun and raid seriously at the same time. I'm glad to see the guild getting back to their roots. Akraen knows how to do hardcore on a casual schedule right.

And, yeah, don't bash Dux. He's an amazing tank, and he's fun. As Akraen said, Dux and many others had divergent goals, and it just didn't work out. Those who wanted hardcore on a hardcore schedule went their way, and those who wanted hardcore on a casual schedule when another way. The core of this guild has proven that hardcore on a casual schedule works, and I'm confident that they will prosper again with like minded raiders.
