Hi - I was just checking out the faction change service and had heard you guys plan to making a paid race change aswell. I was just wondering when we could expect this service and roughly how much it's going to cost? Faction change is nice and all but 30 bucks.. and no server transfer included? thats a tad pricey especially since I had so many 80s and there has been others aswell asking about this new feature.
I'd rather just change a few races for 10 bucks than pay 30 to swap a faction.
So when and how much for this awesome service? I would assume it should be available already since its about the same as a faction change.. just swapping races so I'd assume it would be far more easier and less time consuming to accomplish.

I agree with the above poster who did give you an answer. Also, feel free to BROWSE the forums for you answer, as there are about 5 or so posts of this per day.

More information will be provided on this upcoming service when we are closer to launching it. Hang tight, it's not far off.

As with many features which are hotly anticipated, Race Change is not something you will ever have to ask about.
The information you have now is all the information they can give. When they have more to share they will do so without being asked. Until they do, asking won't get anything new. It's frustrating but unfortunately the details are pretty much what you know.

It will likely include a name change ($10 service) and character recustomization ($15 service) so don't expect it to cost less then $25, and it will most likely cost $30.
I doubt a race change will cost as much or more than a faction change, I'm thinking 15-20.
the way you make it sound a re-customization actually only costs 5 dollars since the rename itself is 10.
The only race I would be interested in changing to for my DK would be from human to worgen. Hopefully Blizz allows worgen race change straight off when the next expansion hits.
My all time favorite race though is tauren but all my friends are alliance so can't play that as a main toon.
WTB lift race restrictions on factions :)
