Q u o t e:
I understand wanting more to do with Vo'jin. Poor fella's been sitting there patiently and quietly in Thrall's throneroom for quite some time now in Grommash Hold. The problem with it is this: we've been inundated with troll lore in the game, and I'd like to see it take a break. Cataclysm seems like it might have a nice sampling of night elf, and possibly even tauren, lore, and I think it's about time for a change.

With Zul'Farrak, Zul'Gurub, Zul'Aman, and Zul'Drak, I think i'm about Zul'd out. The trolls have tons of lore in the game already, some of it rather major (Zul'Gurub, Zul'Aman and Zul'Drak), and it's time for a break. Let the trolls sit on the side for a bit, let the other races shine a bit, and I think everyone's going to be happy.

I like trolls, I really do. It's just... enough.

...All of those examples are perfect evidence as to how shafted the Darkspear have been since WoW came out. They have the most potential of all the races but can barely even muster a single hero, or mention in WoW. Vol'jin has done nothing throughout the game, and Rokhan, the only other Darkspear hero, gives a stupid quest in Dragonblight. And thats about all the story development they have...

They got kicked out of STV, and obviously have a history with Hakkar and would be one of the few races to understand the threat there, but they have zero story there at all. Even the gnomes have a LOT more internal story development than they.

Blizzard has thusfar dropped the ball when it comes to the Darkspear.

Q u o t e:
Most of that is just wrong....fail

If you say so I still feel that each race on each side has its parallel on the other its just my opinion so whatever never actually said it was fact did I? Forsaken are Human so I don't see where that similarity is wrong. Blood Elves & Night Elves are cousins again wheres the wrong there? Draes and Tauren are the most peaceful of the races as well as being the biggest of their sides & them being the best cultural examples of the divergent classes of Shaman/Paladin. Goblins and Gnomes have been feuding amongst themselves for who knows how long. Dwarves and Orcs are the ones who originally took in another race to their city, and are stocky, gruff, mostly physical based races who provide the major siege weaponry for their sides. (Also before Varian came back I saw Magni as being the most influential and stable leadership of the Eastern Alliance). As for Worgen and Trolls you're right I don't have much in way of parallels, mainly their looks (Worgen from the Youtube vids) and the fact that their both distrustful races who are very shadowy & quick learners, They're also both refugees from the other sides attacks, from Forsaken attack on Gilneas, & Kul Tiras attack on the Echo Isles respectively (which admittedly ended long before WoW came out but they set up Sen'jin Village on the coast of Durotar instead since their place on the island was destroyed by bombardment <.<).

Also interesting enough I've always pegged the High Elves for having been sun deity worshipers, paralleling their Night Elven cousins, & got their power of the light from there. Much like the new Tauren Paladins & Priests are doing now with An'she their sun deity.

P.S. I do think its about time to see Troll & Gnome capitols, as well as Goblin & Worgen should get real ones.

Personally I'd like to see the Revantusk and Darkspear (and other smaller tribes) come together and build a new multi-cultural troll culture as their populations seem to be very small in comparison to others in the game. The cataclysm could push their tribes into extinction if they aren't careful.

Having the smaller Horde-allied troll tribes come together to form a new troll nation/city within the Horde would be epic. Giving the troll race a bit more diversity as far as skins or models go and more people would probably like them. (I love the new Revantusk model, sadly we can't play in that model currently)

I would not place their city in STV necessarily as this area is already so troll heavy already. It would also take too much away from Booty Bay having a major city that close. I would say somewere around the wetlands, as that area is gonna have a boost as far as new end-game content activity (a base around would be an asset).

If they have the Alliance consolidate in Arathi, after their defeat in Hillsbrad. They would easily destroy Hammerfall and force the horde back across the river. This would be a good way to give the Alliance back one of their great strongholds and give the Horde a reason to fortify/build a new port city in that region to harass the Alliance supply lines.

Apparently Kezan is getting pretty trashed by the volcano located on that island, I'm not sure they will fare any better there.

Except that in the last cataclysm (The Sundering), the Zandalarians put up a shield and managed to protect themselves, the city and their territory. So why couldn't they do it again?

They might. I mean, they have mages who can feel arcane disturbances, shaman who talk to the elements and priests who chill with animal gods who would be in tune with that sort of thing as well.
Trolls be crazy like that, yo! I mean.... mon.

While I see a troll quest hub in STv a little...eh, I think it would be nice if we finally regained the Echo isles after years of owning Zalazane.

All in all, FOR DA DARKSPEAR!

The evidence is undeniable, I'm not wearing any pants!

While we are making requests about racial leaders, please also do stuff with:

-Cairne Bloodhoof (I suppose he *is* rescuing Horde babies)
-High TInker Mekkatorque
-Lor'themar Theron / Halduron Brightwing / Rommath - it still amazes me with all the fancy Blood Elf starting area stuff these guys literally stand around and do nothing :P

Woot! I'ma troll and I WOOT! But, if you know the lore. Trolls had a city at the Malestrom, but murlocs made the big whirlpool and wiped em out, where the survivors floated up on Durotar and were saved by the orks. So, I'm thinking with Cata, that they make a raid "Zul'Jin" or something like that, where you enter the old troll city and beat up the murlocs! TAKE THAT FOR TAKING MY HOME STUPID MURLOCS!
